Our journey unfolded with anticipation as we approached the breathtaking Pangong TSO. This destination promised serenity, surreal beauty, and memories etched against the canvas of the Himalayas. The road wound through tall, snow-covered mountains, while the sun kept hiding and peeking out again. The journey itself felt like a story written in the landscape. And then, we saw a sudden glimpse of blue, so bright it looked like a piece of the sky had fallen. That was Pangong TSO. Calm, shining, and resting like a giant mirror between the brown hills.
We had Lunch with Maggi on the banks of Pangong TSO—it always tastes best in the mountains. With that view, it felt like the most delicious meal in the world. The afternoon passed as we kept watching the lake. Its colours changed slowly—from deep blue, to turquoise, to a golden glow as the sun went down. There was no mobile signal, noise, or rush: just the wind, the water, and the silent mountains. And the sun finally dipped, the sky turned red, orange, and purple. The peace and beauty of that place stayed with us. More than a memory, it felt like a quiet song I would carry inside us for a long time.
Sometimes, a trip doesn’t change your life. Sometimes it just makes you smile in ways you’ll remember forever. And really, isn’t that what “inner peace” looks like?
