Kristu Jayanti College, Autonomous, Bengaluru provides its students a platform to showcase their love and respect for their own culture and heritage through Ethnic Day, a grand occasion to present the diverse ethnicity within the student community. On October 22, 2022 Ethnic Day was celebrated with a lot of passion and energy thanks to the assistance of the College administration and the teachers and staff. By displaying ethnic vibes and distinctive cultural dances, the entire campus appeared to have transformed into an ethnic haven. Students and teachers alike enjoyed themselves to the utmost during this enjoyable respite from academic work. These kinds of days serve as enduring reminders of college life that students can always appreciate.
The celebrations got underway at 11.30 am with Fr. Augustine, the Principal declaring the event open and was kicked off with an enthusiastic Chendamelam where the entire campus was rocked with South Indian energy. The ceremony took place on the Turf which could contain 10,000 students in one go. Students from all regions performed on stage and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent display of various ethnic dances. This Ethnic Day brought the Jayantians together through the display of the diversity and liveliness of Indian culture. Several dignitaries, faculty members, and students expressed their gratitude for the event with positive remarks.
Jayantians have always excelled in meticulously planning events, and this one was celebrated under the strategic planning that included media coverage, a disciplinary committee, student organisers, music system, and well-kept time. The event was a great success, and 2022 Ethnic Day will always be remembered thanks to everyone's support and tremendous effort.
