Talent Transformation Team, Centre for Employability and Corporate Relations (CECR) always bring out innovative initiatives which will increase the employability and help the students to select the right career choice.
To strengthening the relationship with the corporate sector and help the students get placed in the company of their choice, the Centre for Employability & Corporate Relations started the Employability Lecture Series - TRANSCEND 2016 with a tagline enter, stay in and progress in the last placement season.
Objectives of Transcend 2016-2017:
1. C2C Engagement
2. Focus on Employability Skills to a specific audience
3. Companies from different verticals come and share about Specific Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Behaviors & Attitude)
4. Empowered Lectures
Transcend is an empowered lecture series where motivation from lectures given by the top management of companies percolates to the students.
The first edition and Launch of Transcend 2016 for the academic year 2016-17 witnessed the presence of leaders from Grant Thornton on 29th July, 2016 at 11AM in the SKE Auditorium gracing the occasion.
The first edition was for the students from the Kristu Jayanti School of Management (PGDM & MBA). Students from first and second year were a part of the lecture.
We had the pleasure of having Mr Sadasiva Sarma Dvevedi, Associate Director-Audit practices, Mr. Prasad K Dhulipalla, Manager Audit & Mrs. Debolina Bose, Manager Audit as the expert panel.
The Lecture gave both the 'internal' and 'external' perspectives of Audit. The session created a dynamic presentation and wider scope for interaction and discussion with the students.

3. Skills required for entering, staying in and progressing in the company.
