The Centre for Employability and Corporate Relations takes continuous effort in bridging the gap between Theory learned in the Classroom and Practical happenings in the corporate world through Industry Institute Interface (III). Industry Institute Interface is conducted on every Saturday.
Executives from different sectors like IT, ITES, Retail, Manufacturing, Banking and Financial Services, FMCG, Media visits the College for delivering lectures to the students and interacts with them. Students are updated with the current trends in the corporate world. Apart from lectures, members from companies interact with students on campus through Business Thought Leadership Sessions, Guest Lectures, Live Projects, and other Corporate Forums.

The journey of attaining the goal and the focus should be towards pro-activeness rather than reactiveness which generate a positive source of energy by expanding the circle of influence in life. – The 3i highlighted the areas of building the gap between academic and corporate while working towards enhancing the students’ core competencies. Companies like HANA Printerz, ESAF Bank, IDBI Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Johnson & Johnson, Quintype and Samsung India Electronics were part of interaction sessions for UG & PG students of 1200 & 625 respectively.

The top consumer goods companies and other companies like Quintype, Inc., Rapid Value, Greenwell Speciality Ltd., were part of this year to address students about their personal and industrial experience and to mark the importance to have "Interest and Awareness in Life and in Career ''. The resource person Mr. P G K Nair, Chairman & Mentor, TIA Technology Pvt, Ltd enlightened the students on contemporary topics required to attend the interviews and how to be updated with the current news. 1050 and 520 students participated from UG & PG.

3i successfully helps the students to make the transition from a college student to a corporate professional seamlessly. It is one of the best platforms for the students to engage with the corporate world. Mr. Sanjay Gopinath, Lead, Campaign Management Discipline, IBM India, urged the students to follow the 3C’s “Commitment, Confidence, Communication”. He also stressed on leadership qualities, positive attitude and teamwork the qualities that every individual must imbibe in the corporate world. –The UG & PG students with 935 and 410 respectively received insights about the employability skills required to enter into the corporate world. Companies like Amazon, IBM, Cadbury India Ltd, Data Semantics P Ltd & Grant Thornton India and others joined to educate students in different functions to enhance employability skills.

Corporate world has taken a new direction and when it comes to the demand of professionals, one with industry knowledge has a competitive edge as compared to others. This year the number of interactions increased by 20% with experts coming from various segments like manufacturing, retail, analytics and healthcare, telecommunications and automotive industries.They shared their knowledge with the students and emphasized on the habit of planning and setting goals. Mr. Fabian Simmons, Oracle, highlighted that to achieve success one should have the right attitude, healthy ego, be a result oriented person, develop networking and be knowledge oriented.
The Number of beneficiaries were 825 from UG and 380 from PG respectively.

The Centre for Placement and Corporate Relations of Kristu Jayanti College endeavors a balanced connection between industry and institution. Among so many such creativities, one such student engagement activity is 3i which stands for Industry Institution Connect. This session mainly focused on interaction with stalwarts from industry on a regular basis. 3i helps to bridge the gap between academy and industry. Executives from top leading companies visit the campus and interact with our students. Experts from SAP, SIEMENS, STRIDES ARCOLABS, and WIPRO & SIB etc., benefitted 795 UG and 215 Post-graduates.
