Placement Extension Services

At Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), we are committed to fostering career growth not only for our own students but also for aspiring individuals from other educational institutions. The Placement Extension Services initiative is a unique platform that extends our placement ecosystem beyond campus boundaries, providing students from partner colleges an opportunity to step confidently onto the corporate ladder.

Through this program, we facilitate pooled campus hiring drives, inviting students from multiple institutions to participate in placement activities hosted by the University. These initiatives strengthen academia–industry collaboration while nurturing employability, inclusivity, and holistic career development.

How Placement Extension Services Empowers Students

1. Access to Diverse Opportunities: Through strategic collaborations with leading corporations and organizations, students gain access to a broad spectrum of job profiles across industries. This ensures that every aspiring graduate finds an opportunity aligned with their interests, skills, and career aspirations.

2. Expert Guidance: Our experienced career counsellors and industry experts provide tailored mentorship and counselling to participating students. They offer deep insights into emerging job market trends, evolving skill requirements, and professional expectations, enabling students to make informed career decisions.

3. Pooled Campus Hiring: The Extension Service organizes pooled campus drives where students from different colleges converge at Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University). This platform enables participants to engage directly with recruiters, attend selection rounds, and showcase their potential — enhancing their chances of securing their dream roles.

4. Skill Enhancement Workshops: To ensure students are industry-ready, CECR conducts skill-building workshops focusing on resume writing, interview preparation, professional communication, and workplace etiquette. These sessions empower students with the confidence and competence needed to perform effectively in recruitment processes.

5. Networking Opportunities: Placement Extension Services also serve as a valuable networking platform, connecting students with corporate professionals, alumni, and peers from other institutions. These interactions foster industry exposure, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.

6. Seamless Transition to Corporate Life: The program helps students transition smoothly from academic life to professional environments. With structured support, pre-placement orientation, and mentorship, participants are well-equipped to face the challenges of the corporate world.

7. Inclusive Placement Drives for PwD Candidates: In alignment with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, CECR organizes dedicated placement drives for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) in collaboration with inclusive employers. These drives aim to create equitable employment opportunities, empower differently-abled students, and promote accessibility and inclusivity within the workplace.
