On the 10th of January, 2025, the Department of Life Sciences at Kristu Jayanti College, Autonomous, Bengaluru, coordinated the Pre-Occasion for Worldwide Exchange Fair Organics and Millet 2025. The Public authority of Karnataka has led the Millet Fair since around 2017 with the reason of exhibiting the amazing open doors and commodity capability of Karnataka's natural and millet areas, with the essential goal of reinforcing both worldwide and homegrown market linkages for the state's produce.

The pre-occasion incorporated various connecting exercises that captivated numerous understudies to partake. There was the Millet Expert Gourmet Specialist Cooking Rivalry, which tried the culinary abilities of understudies and brought about mind-blowing delights; Millets Sorcery, a presentation of prepared to-make millet items and Quality Food Propensities: Millets in My Eating routine, a show coordinated to bring issues to light about the gainful supplements in millets.

The occasion, held in the Silver Celebration Assembly room in the Administrator Block, started with discernment on millet creation in India and its importance in a sagacious show by Dr. Shreedevi Gothe, a graduated class of Government Ayurveda Clinical School and Clinic and filling in as the Exploration Right-hand Teacher at TDU - Trans-Disciplinary College. From that point onward, the initiation occurred with regarded dignitaries, including Shri Y. S. Patil, IAS, Magistrate of Horticulture, and Dr. Tanay Joshy, Researcher and Nation Organizer, India and Tanzania. Our beloved Principal Fr. Dr. Augustine George gave the Presidential address, Dr. Tanay Joshy presented the prelude, and Shri Y. S. Patil delivered the inaugural address.

As an expansion, a board conversation named "Millets: The Supergrains for a Reasonable Future" was organized to unite a different gathering of recognized specialists and finished up with an enthralling dance themed on representing the revitalization of millets as a key to economic living.

This occasion gave a helpful discussion on making a market ecological system and information-sharing climate that permits all gatherings engaged with the millet and natural ventures to show their thoughts, abilities, and qualities or to meet their business needs.
