Commenced in 1999, the Deanery of life Science envisions imparting high eminence skills in software Development to excel in IT Industry and to train the students to develop the soft skills with global standards and enhance their knowledge in Information Technology. The department aims to develop academically competent and professionally motivated personals, equipped with objective and critical thinking that compassionately foster the scientific temper with a sense of social responsibility.
We aim at providing high quality training to students through the contemporary computer technology. In order to maintain the standard of education, the department constantly upgrades the academic syllabi so as to keep the students well trained to deal with changing trends in the field of Computer Science and Technology. The syllabi and courseware are planned to be flexible and wide-ranging, incorporating the cutting edge as well as ensuring a firm grasp of core fundamentals.
It strives for excellence in creating, applying, and imparting knowledge in Computer Science through comprehensive educational programs. The department provides a stimulating, productive and friendly environment in the form of classrooms and lab space, computing infrastructure & teaching support. The faculty and students are enabled to discover their latent potential through a variety of learning experiences in and outside the classroom. Students are also encouraged to participate in inter-collegiate IT fests and organize the IT fest of the institution. Academic Collaborations with rising IT industries for innovative applications in information technology are encouraged for the benefit of faculty and students.
There are different computer labs with WI-FI facility for both the UG and PG students.
The department of Computer Science exists from the very beginning of the college (1999). The Department has multidisciplinary courses in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and Electronics. And the newest addition to this is Physics. Each discipline enables the students to be employable or explore new horizons in the path of higher studies and research.
Owing to the fact that information technology has made an impression in every discipline, most of our graduates acquire solid foundation which paves way for career in multifaceted disciplines.
