Cyber Hygiene – A Cyber Awareness Programme was successfully organized in the Department of Computer Science collaboration with CISCO and NIIT Foundation as part of the University-level Cyber Hygiene Week to promote awareness about cyber security and safe digital practices. The event aimed to educate students about the importance of protecting personal information and being responsible digital citizens. A series of interactive sessions, workshops, and awareness drives were conducted throughout the week. Experts from the cyber security field delivered informative talks on topics such as phishing, password security, and data privacy. Students actively participated in activities like poster-making, quizzes, and debates related to cyber safety. Hands-on training sessions were held to demonstrate secure browsing habits and the use of antivirus tools. The program successfully instilled a culture of digital responsibility and vigilance among the participants. Overall, Cyber Hygiene Week was a valuable University-level initiative that empowered students to stay safe in the digital world.
