Computer Academy
The Department of Computer Science (UG) has a computer science club "COMPUTER ACADEMY" with more than 800 members where students participate, organize and be part of confluence between technology and academics through a series of programmes like guest lectures, workshops, seminars, industrial visits, inter and intra collegiate fests, science exhibition, computer simulations, technical communities, technical video sessions, social outreach programmes etc.

Innovative Club
The innovative club aims to foster innovation in the young minds of the students by providing them opportunity to do projects as diverse as robotics and animated games pertaining to the fields of Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics and Computer Science. Galaxia is the Intra College Science Project Exhibition which offers the passionate a stage to display what they find fascinating.

Technical Community
Technical communities provide a platform for the students to discuss, share and update their knowledge in various domains of information technology and thereby sharpening their technical and soft skills. There are nine technical communities such as Coding and Debugging, Web Designing, Quiz, Statistics, Electronics, Mathematics, Event Management, IT Manager and Lecture Contest.

Academic Alliance with EMC2
Academic Alliance with EMC2, is an initiative of the department to ensure that the industry has a strong pipeline of graduates to meet its future needs. The Academic Alliance program offers unique 'Open' curriculum-based education on technology topics such as cloud computing, big data analytics, and information storage and management. The 'open' curriculum focuses on technology concepts and principles applicable to any vendor environment, enabling students to develop highly marketable knowledge and skills required in today’s evolving IT industry. On completing the certificate course on Information Storage and Management the students can take up the online certification exam and get certified as EMC Academic Associate, Information Storage Management.

Industry Mentorship Programme
Industry Mentorship Programme connects experienced industry professionals with current students for one-on-one guidance to share insights and increase student employability in their future. This programme aims at empowering the students to connect with industry and focus on their professional goals.

Academic Alliance with VMware
VMware, Inc. is a subsidiary of Dell Technologies that provides cloud and virtualization software and services and claims to be the first to successfully virtualize the x86 architecture commercially. Courses on Data Center Virtualization Fundamentals [V6], VMware Network Virtualization Fundamentals and VMware Cloud Fundamentals are provided to the students of the department. VMware organizes “VMware - Open Badge Day”, where by faculty/students can take up assessments on various technology fundamentals and earn the “VMware Digital Badges”.

Membership with ICT Academy
Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru is the first Arts & Science College in the State of Karnataka to sign the membership with ICT Academy.The membership is signed to benefit Faculty Members and Students through various initiatives of ICT Academy which includes Faculty Development, Student Skill Development, Industry-Institute Collaboration, Research etc.
