Sir briefly explained about the placement process and it begins with pre-placement preparation, including workshops and training on resume building, interview skills, and aptitude tests. This is followed by pre-placement talk from eminent companies, where students learn about job roles and expectations. Then interested candidates can register and undergo various selection stages, such as aptitude tests, technical and HR interviews and group discussions to evaluate their skills and suitability. The entire process aims to prepare students for the job market and facilitate smooth transitions from academia to employment.

orientation session on "Event Horizon"
Date: 19 August 2024
The "Event Horizon" orientation session, organized by final-year BCA General and IOT students, was held under the guidance of Dr. Yashoda M. B. and Dr. Sudharsan M. The event was strategically divided into two sessions to accommodate both second year and first-year students. Its primary goal was to familiarize newcomers with the range of fests, departmental activities, and key college events for the academic year. By drawing on the previous year's achievements, the orientation emphasized the significance of engaging in both technical and non-technical clubs and highlighted the array of major events such as KJMUN, Nrityanjali, Woodrock, Euphonia, Annual Day, Teacher's Day, and Ethnic Day. A major highlight was the segment dedicated to the forthcoming 'Synchronize IT Fest 2k24,' which aimed to stir excitement and involvement. The session successfully provided essential information, addressed student queries, and fostered a sense of anticipation and confidence among the attendees. It effectively motivated students to actively participate in and contribute to the vibrant academic and extracurricular life at Kristu Jayanti College.

The college and its offices will remain closed from 23rd to 25th December 2024 due to end-semester vacation. |
