Radio Jockeying is a combination of voice modulation, confidence, clarity and language. The event comprised of three RJ programmes which were highly challenging, fun and productive at the same time. The event includes three rounds- Creative RJ, Story Building and Phone-in.
In Creative RJ, the students were given topics on spot and asked to speak about it.
In Story Building, the participants had to build a story on three random topics shown to them in intervals.
Phone- in programme tested the presence of mind and quick-thinking of the RJ when dealt with a crisis on phone.
The students were judged based on creativity, spontaneity, fluency and time management. The event satisfied the radio format and gave real-time ‘live’ experience for the students.
