“RTI as a Human Right” - 39th Edition of Vichaarmanthan”: VICHAARMANTHANM
Prof. Madabhushi Sridhar Acharyulu, Former Central Information Commissioner, Govt. of India said “If it is instant justice it is injustice” in 39th Edition of Vichaarmanthan on “RTI as a Human Right” in Kristu Jayanti College on December 10, 2019. Prof Madabhushi said justice hurried is justice buried” Justice is something that can be served only if the third party is involved that is the court. As the court takes account of the proof, witness and makes a fair judgement rather than falling prey to emotions. He also emphasizes on the fact that right to information is very important and every person should be aware of the rights they possess so that they are not exploited. “Violation of a right by A by a government it is called human right. Every right that is part of the constitution should be made available by the government. Government should do everything possible to enforce a law as it is their duty. Government should rule according to law and not by will. Then only we can prevent violation of human rights, said Prof. Madabhushi. Trial is trying to find whether the person is lying. Trial is very important as every person is involved in lying and in order to bring out the truth this procedure is necessary. Every information is important to enforcing a right. Therefore it's important to spread information and make people aware of the rights and not being exploited as imparting information empowers a person said Prof. Madabhushi.
