International Women’s Day Commemoration

The Department of Professional Management Studies was pleased to commemorate International Women’s Day on 8th March 2025 with a motivational speech on the theme “The Multifaceted Role of Women in Society” by resource speaker Ms. Athira V Menon, Human Resource Analyst from Walmart Global tech India, a trained classical dancer and renowned actress from Malayalam film Industry. On this auspicious occasion Ms. Athira depicted a multifaceted role of women in family and society. Her speech inspired the female students’ community to deal with daily life issues and challenges being a woman. The role of women in corporate world is dealing with colleagues and competitors also has been discussed. Many students also participated in the conversation presented by the speaker and presented their viewpoint.


Zero Discrimination Day

Department of Professional Management Studies commemorated on 3rd March 2025 for final year business analytics students. The activity included brief presentation on Introduction, History and importance of zero discrimination Day, Testimony, Skit and Pledge taking ceremony. Commemorating Zero Discrimination Day has a significant impact in raising awareness about the harmful effects of discrimination and promoting a culture of inclusivity. By highlighting the importance of equality, the day encourages individuals to reflect on their biases and fosters empathy towards marginalized groups. Zero Discrimination Day serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of equality and the ongoing fight against all forms of discrimination. Through activities like testimonies, skits, and pledges, individuals are encouraged to actively participate in the movement to create a world where everyone can live free from bias and prejudice.
