Synchronize 23
The Department of Computer Science (UG) has organized Synchronize 23, intra-collegiate IT fest centered around the theme of "Cyber Security." This event, which spanned a week, was organized by the faculty coordinators Prof. Ramanathan G and Prof. Sumalatha A and student coordinators Mr. U S Abhiram and Ms. Shambhavi Vijay, under the guidance of Head, Prof Sevuga Pandian A. with commented participation of 700 first and second-year undergraduate students, featuring 10 teams and 11 events.

The event Agora, with 100 participants, had 22 finalists, while Mathalyze included three rounds, culminating in an intense Auction round to determine the winner. Graphosnark had 27 participants competing in prelims and finals. Netzknoten narrowed down 15 out of 58 participants through three rounds to find the best web designer. IT Manager, the most prestigious event, featured challenging rounds, with Ms. Sudeepa Santhanam securing the coveted title. Keystroke, the most participated event, followed the prelims-finals format. The technical event, Codefi, selected its winner through two rounds of prelims and finals, while ByteQuest (IT Quiz) spanned two rounds.

On the event's finale day, September 30th, 2023, the chief guest Mr. Enoch Manohar, a distinguished Software Performance Engineering Evangelist with 14 years of experience across various domains, delivered the inaugural address. The Principal Fr.Dr. Augustine George has delivered the presidential address followed by promotional activities incorporating technology and creativity, featuring rovers and motorized signage. Most of the day was dedicated to the finals of various events, culminating in a dignified Valedictory session. The Valedictory session commenced with presidential address by Fr. Emmanuel P. J. Director, Kristu Jayanti College of Law and awarded the certificates and mementos to the event winners. Student coordinator Ms. Shambhavi Vijay delivered the vote of thanks.

Galaxia-2k22
The computer science (UG) department's Computer Academy held a science exhibition called Galaxia-2k22 on September 29, 2022, as part of the department's objective to provide quality education that improves intellectual capabilities in technical areas as well as employment chances. The exhibition was inaugurated by Souma Kumar Paul, Member of Technical Staff, VMware – QA, Bengaluru, India. Exhibition included Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics, Mathematics and physics Projects. Projects created by department students serve as an example of their talents. The goal of this exhibition is to close the knowledge gap between academia and business needs. There were 47 active projects on display during this event. Through these projects, the computer science department's undergraduate students demonstrated their technical expertise. Neighboring college and school students were invited to visit the stall and requested to give the feedback about the project. Children of the migrant workers also visited the exhibition and were very enthusiastic to see the projects. “Semiautomatics Water Supply Using GSM Module”, “Smart Stick For Blind People”, “Zombie Fps Game”, “C-APP (Connect-App)”, “Azul-Boardgame” were some of the working models included in the exhibition which grabbed the attention of visitors. There was a tough competition among the contestants of the working models in the exhibition; as 47 teams competed for the 1st three prizes of the exhibition. Three best projects from each subject were selected.

The Exhibition marked its end by the valedictory ceremony in which Fr. Joshy Mathew, Director, Library and information center, presided the meeting along with Prof.Sevuga Pandian, Head department of computer science (UG) and Prof Nagendra S, Coordinator for physical sciences Program. 15 teams were declared winners and the winners were felicitated by cash prize and appreciation certificates.

The students of the Department of Computer Science are always encouraged to undertake a plethora of curricular and extracurricular activities beyond their syllabus to enrich their knowledge and skills. Computer Academy serves as a forum to interact and connect their lateral talents and strengths through various activities. Many interactive, innovative and intellectual sessions are conducted on technology in diversified areas. The students are stimulated to participate, organize and be a part of the convergence between technology and academics through a series of student development programs like Workshops, Science exhibitions, Technical Communities Knowledge Kindle groups, Special Interest group, and Inter and Intra collegiate fests.

SYNCHRONIZE 2022 is the Intra-Collegiate IT fest organized by the Third-year students of BCA, B.Sc. for their juniors, to provide an opportunity to organize, participate and showcase their potentials. SYNCHRONIZE 2022 was based on the theme of Virtual Reality. The students were grouped into 9 teams named after the Virtual Reality giants, namely – Within, Vironit, Nvidia, AMD, Ninehertz, Oculus, Cemtrex, Worldwiz and HTC. The fest offered events in all the foundation subjects like Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics, and Physics so that students could exhibit their skills and be inspired. Synchronize 2022 also saw the birth of gaming with Fifa 22 and Valorant being the 2 Esports games to be played. Students participated in the 12 well organized events of Synchronize 2022.

Our students left no stones unturned and participated in a synchronized manner in all the events of the Intra Collegiate IT fest with a total participation of more than 600 students competing for the 12 events. The preliminary rounds were conducted from 19th September to 24th September 2022 through Google Forms and Quizziz platform, and 70 students were selected for the final round. The last round of events were conducted through

Synchronize 2022 was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by student secretaries of Computer Academy and other dignitaries on 30th September. Fr. Emmanuel P J, Principal Kristu Jayanti College of Law presided over the inauguration. He stressed the importance of embedding technology in the campus.

The Chief Guest for the Inaugural session was Mr. Venkataraman Umakanth, Vice president and Head Analytics of IT Vees, Bangalore. He highlighted the point that entrepreneurship and innovation are the need for transformation and that it is through attitude and persistent learning which determines our goals.

The Fest Prelude was delivered by Prof. Prathap G,Staff Coordinator, Computer Academy. The Inaugural session was followed by the final rounds of Coding and Debugging, Elektreum event, and Graphosnark, which was held offline.

The fest concluded with the Valedictory Ceremony which was presided over by Fr. Joshy Mathew, Coordinator, Department of English (PG), Director, Library and Information Centre. The final report of Synchronise 2022 was presented by Dr. Jasmine Beluah, Staff Coordinator, Computer Academy. The ceremony ended with the announcement of winners of all the events.


Code-Hack 2022

Every year the third week of September is observed as the national coding week. This year 14th to 20th September is observed as the National Coding Week. To utilize this week properly and inculcate a love for coding among the students of Kristu Jayanti College, we propose running a 4-day coding competition for all the students.

Many interactive, innovative and intellectual sessions are conducted in technology in diversified areas. The students are stimulated to participate, organize and be a part of convergence between technology and academics through a series of student development programs like Workshops, Science exhibition, Technical Communities, Knowledge Kindle groups, Special Interest group and Inter and Intra collegiate fests. The Computer Academy is lead by the faculty coordinators Prof. Ramanathan G and Prof. Divya K.S and the student coordinators Sanjay Karthik and Sandra Prince for the academic year 2021-2022.

Xactitude 2022 is the annual National Science and Technology fest organized by the Department of Computer Science, Kristu Jayanti College. This year, the theme of Xactitude 2022 is “BlockChain Technology Trends''. Based on the themes, STATSORYX (Statistics event), ELECTROVOLTA (Electronics event), CODEX (Coding & Debugging event), NEUTRINO (Physics Event), πrates (Mathematics event), WEB DESIGNING competitions were organized. There were participants from 16 different colleges who took part in the various events. The preliminary rounds were conducted through AUTO PROCTORING GOOGLE FORMS, workbench, hacker rank enabled with zoom platform.

XACTITUDE 2022 was inaugurated with the virtual lighting of the lamp developed by Computer academy on 3rd March 2022. The inauguration was presided by Rev Dr. Augustine George , Principal Kristu Jayanti college, who emphasized that we live in an era where technology redefines the way we connect to each other. Technology has created a more global platform. There are a lot of opportunities and challenges in technological innovations. One should adopt 3c’s Connect, Communicate and Converge. He also said that the ability to innovate and creativity is the biggest challenge in the world today hence, one has to go the extra mile and participate in inter college fest.

The chief guest for the inaugural session was Mr.Mahesh Srinivastava, Technology Leader at Solve.Care, Bangalore. He advised the students to adapt themselves to the emerging technologies of today. He also explained how real world problems can be addressed or solved by adapting some of the emerging technologies like Cloud computing, Data Analysis, Digital experience, Digital reality, Cognitive Computing, Block Chain. He also advised the students to connect with world leaders and learn from their experience. He concluded by saying that self-learning is more important and hard work, passion and dedication will take one to great heights.

The students of the Department of Computer Science are always encouraged to undertake a plethora of curricular and extracurricular activities beyond their syllabus to enrich their knowledge base as well as their skills. Computer Academy serves as a forum to interact and connect their lateral talents and strengths through various activities. Many interactive, innovative and intellectual sessions are conducted in technology on diversified areas. The students are stimulated to participate, organize and be a part of convergence between technology and academics through a series of student development programs like Workshops, Science exhibition, Technical Communities Knowledge Kindle groups, Special Interest group and Inter and Intra collegiate fests.

SYNCHRONIZE is the intra-collegiate fest organized by the final year students of BCA, B.Sc. for their juniors, to provide an opportunity to organize, participate and showcase their potentials. SYNCHRONIZE 2021 was based on the theme of Blockchain. The students were grouped into 6 teams named after the Blockchain, namely –Consortium, Ethereum, Monero, Vyper, Invariant, and Zeppelin. The fest offered events in all the foundation subjects like Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics and Physics, so that students could exhibit their skills and be inspired. The 10 events of Synchronize 2021 was named based on the Blockchain technology.

Our students left no stones unturned and participated in a synchronized manner in all the events of the Intra Collegiate IT fest making the total participation of 201 students competing for the 10 events. The preliminary rounds were conducted from 4th October to 7th October through Auto-Proctoring Google Forms and the website ‘Quizzez’, and 62 students were selected for the final round. The last round of events was conducted through HackerRank and other modes enabled on zoom platform.

Synchronize 2021 was inaugurated with the virtual lighting of the lamp developed by students of Computer Science on 8th October. Rev Dr. Augustine George, Principal of the College presided over the inauguration. He stressed on the importance of embedding technology in campus.

The Chief Guest for the Inaugural session was Mr. Shantnoo Saxsena, Founder, Encryptus. He emphasized on the point that innovation is the call for modernization and that it is attitude and constant learning which determines our destiny.

The Fest Prelude was delivered by Prof. Ramanathan G, Coordinator, and Computer Academy. The Inaugural session was followed by the final rounds of PHYSICS EVENT, STATS EVENT, MATHS EVENT, and ELECTRONICS EVENT which was held offline.

The fest concluded with the Valedictory Ceremony which was presided over by Rev. Fr. Lijo P Thomas, Financial Administrator. The final report of Synchronise 2021 was presented by Prof. Divya K S, Coordinator, and Computer Academy. The ceremony ended with the announcement of winners of all events.

Xactitude IT Fest 2021

Objective: To provide a platform to hone the technical skills, team work and leadership skills of the students.
Xactitude 2021 is the annual Science and Technology festival organized by the Department of Computer Science, Kristu Jayanti College. Xactitude 2021 is one such platform organized by computer Academy, the IT club of the department, where students from various institutions across the country are encouraged to exhibit and showcase their technical talent. The event was organized in the virtual mode by the team lead by Dr. K. Kalaiselvi and Dr. Dalvin Vinod Kumar, student co-ordinators Mr. Ashwin Kumar VI B.Sc CMSE, Ms. Siddi Agarwal VI BCA Analytics. The computer academy has taken up robotic process automation (RPA) as a core theme for this year’s academic events. The events were named after the robotic process. Knowledge Agent (IT Quiz), Wintask (Coding & Debugging event),Solvexia (Mathematics event), Botstatz (Statistics event), Electroneek (Electronics event), Xcelerator One (Physics Event).

The participants from across the country have turned all the stones to participate in the virtual inter collegiate IT fest, one of the kind and first of the kind in department of CS. The total participants registered for the fest is 126 from 16 colleges pan india, for all the 6 events. The events were contacted The preliminary rounds were conducted through AUTO PROCTARING GOOGLE FORMS.re workbench, hacker rank enabled with zoom platform.

XACTITUDE 2021 was inaugurated with the virtual lighting of the lamp developed by Computer academy on 11TH FEBRUARY. The inauguration was presided by Rev Dr. Augustine George Principal KJC who insisted the jayantians to adapt to the changing environment.

The resource person for the inaugural session was Mr. Ajith Mathew George, Cofounder Sysfore Technologies, Bangalore. Mr. Ajith emphasis on the future of work and the sustainability in the IT industry. He insisted the students to develop indigenous products that are home grown which project our nation globally.


Quiz Club Activity – “Tech Intellect” Quiz

The Quiz Club in association with Department of Computer Science (UG) of Kristu Jayanti College, organized a “Quiz – Tech Intellect” on 05th December, 2020. Preliminary test was conducted to eliminate and select only 6 from the registered participants of Final Year BCA students. The quiz was all about the Modern Technology software and its evolution. The students participated very enthusiastically and made it a huge success.


National Mathematics Day

Objective: Main objective of the National Mathematics Day celebration is to create and encourage mathematical inventiveness in young minds. Mathematics is an important subject which is the heart of many other subjects in Science. National Mathematics Day celebration will help the students to face competitions and to understand how to apply the mathematical concepts.

The Department of Mathematics of Kristu Jayanti College celebrated National Mathematics Day on 4th December 2020. Kristu Jayanti College celebrates National Mathematics Day every year by conducting guest lectures, poster presentation, quiz and exhibition.

This year the department celebrated in association with Karnataka State Council for Science and technology. And was extended to the entire plus one and plus two students and undergraduate students of our nation.

The program started with an invocation song followed by a welcome address by Mr. Ashwin Kumar, student coordinator. Principal, Dr. Fr. Augustine George gave the inaugural address.

Fr. Lijo. P. Thomas presided over the meeting and emphasized on the role played by Mathematics in different fields of science. Ms. Priyanka, represented Karnataka State Council for Science and technology. Ms. Priyanka spoke about the activities conducted by KSCST and their collaborations.

There were two guest talks. The First speaker was Dr. Dileep Kumar, Assistant professor, Department of Mathematics, University of Kerala. Dr. Dileep spoke about the applications of Mathematics in various fields like- Applications in day-to-day life, applications of calculus, number theory, differential equations, fourier transforms and astrophysics.

The next speaker was Dr. R.S. Selvaraj, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, NIT Warangal. Dr. Selvaraj spoke about ubiquitous mathematics, Gabriel’s Horn, applications of linear algebra in robotics, navigation and locomotion. The events organized for the students of plus one and plus two were, quiz and poster presentation and for the undergraduate student’s quiz and lecture contests respectively.

We had registrations from 20 states of India, with more than 500 participants.

ESTIMATO is a National level Intercollegiate Statistics fest organized by the Department of Statistics, Kristu Jayanti College, Bangalore, on the occasion of World Statistics Day.
ESTIMATO 2020 being the first chapter which was held on 28th October witnessed amazing responses from institutes across the country. We had 47 participants from 13 different institutes of 6 States. The inauguration of Estimato was held at 9:30 in the morning, after which the events designed for Estimato were conducted. There were three events:

• Data Challenge

Computer Academy serves as a forum to interact and connect their lateral talents and strengths through various activities. Many Interactive, innovative and intellectual sessions are conducted in technology on diversified areas. The students are stimulated to participate, organize and be a part of convergence between technology and academics through a series of student development programmes like Workshops, Science exhibition, Technical Communities Knowledge Kindle groups, Special Interest group and Inter and Intra collegiate fests.

SYNCHRONIZE the intra-collegiate fest organized by the final year students of BCA, B.Sc. for their juniors to provide an opportunity to organize, participate and showcase their potentials. SYNCHRONIZE 2K20 was based on the theme of Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The students were grouped into 6 teams named after the RPA providers, namely - UI-Path, Pega, Nintex, Appian, Blue Prism and Jiffy. The fest offered events in all the foundation subjects like Mathematics, Statistics, Electronics and Physics, so that students could exhibit their skills and be inspired. The 9 events of synchronize 2020 was named based on the robotics technology.

Our students left no stones unturned and participated in a synchronized manner in all the events of the Virtual Intra Collegiate IT fest making the total participation of 1027 students competing for the 9 events. The preliminary rounds were conducted from 15th October to 20th October through AUTO PROCTORING GOOGLE FORMS and 180 students were selected for the final round. The last round of events was conducted through workbench, HackerRank enabled on zoom platform.

Synchronize 2k20 was inaugurated with the virtual lighting of the lamp developed by students of Computer Science on 22nd October. Rev Dr. Augustine George Principal of the College presided over the inauguration, he insisted the Jayantians to sharpen their skills in par with the requirements.

The resource person for the Inaugural session was Dr.Anal Acharya Professor St.Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Dr. Acharya emphasized on the participation of various kinds of IT fest to refine the young mind which lean towards technology. He told that Determination, Hard work and Dedication are the three things essential to succeed. He advised the students to learn the basics to excel in their lives and career.

The Fest prelude was delivered by Dr. Dalvin Vinoth Kumar, coordinator Computer Academy. The inaugural session was followed by the final rounds of IDEATHON, PHYSICS EVENT, STATS EVENT, MATHS EVENT, ELECTRONICS EVENT, and GRAPHOTECH. 110 students participated in the first day of Synchronize 2k20.

The second day of Synchronize witnessed 70 participants in the events of IT Quiz, Coding and Debugging and Webiplex.

Xactitude 2020

Xactitude 2020 is the annual Science and Technology festival organized by the Department of Computer Science, Kristu Jayanti College. It is one such platform where young brains from all over the nation get to showcase their skills and compete with others to find the best. It is not just about the competitions but also an event where a lot of those new ideas are seen live and learn more and be inspired. Year after year, Xactitude explores the various aspects of science and technology and the profound impacts they have on our lives. It has constantly grown, evolved, and pushed the boundaries of what a college fest can be.

Xactitude 2020 was inaugurated by Mr. Amaralingeswara Rao Kaka, Program Director, Digital Analytics, India Software Labs, IBM, India along with Ms. Latha Raj, Director Center of Excellence (CoE) & Global Technical Eminence Leader IBM Data & AI. The formal program was followed by promotion, where students of the department of computer science showcased their technical skills. Various events like Hackathon in association with IBM, Calcibot, Coding and Debugging, IT Manager, IT Quiz, Tech talk, Web design, Gaming, Electronics, Mathematics, Statistics and Physics Events were conducted for the participants from across the nation. Hackathon was a two day event which was mentored and supported by IBM. Overalls were won by Garden City University, Bangalore and Runners up by St. Aloysius College, Mangalore.

In keeping with the Computer Science department’s mission of providing quality education that enhances intellectual capabilities in technical aspects as well as career opportunities, the computer science (UG) department’s Computer Academy conducted a two days science exhibition Galaxia-2k20 on 3rd Feb 2020 and 4th Feb 2020. Galaxia-2k20 was inaugurated by Amaralingeswara Rao Kaka, Program Director, Digital Analytics, Software labs, IBM, Bengaluru, India. And Latha Raj, Director Center of excellence & Global Technical eminence leader IBM, Bengaluru India. Exhibition included Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics, Mathematics and physics Projects. Students of the department exhibit their talents in the form of projects. This exhibition has been constituted to bridge the gap between academic inputs and industry demands. 145 working projects were exhibited during this exhibition. The undergraduate students of the computer science department showcased their technical knowledge through these projects. Neighboring college and school students will be invited to visit the stall and requested to give the feedback to the project team people. “Gesture Control Laptop”, “Light Detecting Solar Panel”, “Fourth Eye”, “Facial Expression Recognition With Stats”, “Double Pendulum / Chaus Theory” were some of the working models included in the exhibition which grabbed the attention of visitors. There was a tough competition among the contestants of the working models in the exhibition; as 145 teams competed for the 1st three prizes of the exhibition. Three best projects from each subject were selected.

The computer science Department, organized two days science exhibition Galaxia 2k19 on 30th Jan 2019 and 31st Jan 2019. Galaxia-2k19 was inaugurated by A.T.Kishore, Principal Consultant, Telecom. UTL Telecommunication. This exhibition included Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics, Mathematics and physics Projects. Our students exhibited their talents in this exhibition. This exhibition created a platform for understanding latest technology and innovation in the respective fields. Students of the department exhibit their talents in the form of projects. This exhibition has been constituted to bridge the gap between academic inputs and industry demands. A total of 156 projects were showcased, many interesting projects were displayed in which Air Screen, Facial Recognition Based Attendance, IOT Based Smart Mirror, Railway Track Pedestrian Crossing project was the main focus of attention during the exhibition. Scissor Lift, Hydraulic Maze Aram & Bridge, Sierpinski Triangle were some of the interesting projects. 783 people visited Galaxia- 2K19, which included students and teachers from other departments of our college, school children of neighborhood schools. Students and teachers from New Baldwin School, St. Michel School, & Govt. Higher Primary School, kothanur visited the exhibition and were benefited.


Synchronize 2019

Synchronize is an intra-collegiate technical fest organized by Computer Academy exclusively for the first and second year students of computer science. Final year students organize the fest with an enthusiastic and innovative spirit which also provides them with an opportunity to develop leadership qualities, team work and creativity in the challenging areas of computer science and its allied fields. The theme of the fest was “BLOCKCHAIN Technologies” and hence the students were grouped accordingly into ten teams named after the digital currency using block chain like Tron, Ethos, Stellar, Neo, Dash, Waves, Ripple, Tezos, Monero and Aurora. The fest offered a variety of events in which the participants could exhibit their skills and be inspired.

The Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony was Mr.Ram Dayal Goyal, Founder & CEO, RNS Labs, Bangalore. Mr.Goyal was highly impressed by the various programmes organized by the department which equip the students with Industry-oriented skills, thus making them more competent and employable. His message to the students was to work hard towards their goals and to never stop learning. The keynote presentation on Introduction to AI was also very inspiring. Rev.Dr. Augustine George also addressed the gathering with his thought provoking speech. Students of the department showcased their talent in technology by displaying their innovative project on IOT in the campus quadrangle.

The Second day started with a session on “BLOCK CHAIN Technologies” by Mr.Mohamed Ijaz Co-founder, Comorin Consulting Services, Bangalore. He gave an insight into the various new trends in Blockchain and its technological challenges which was followed by the various technical events. Students participated in all the events with a competitive spirit.

Separate Valedictory sessions were held on both days to felicitate the winners and overall champions of the fest which was graced by Fr. Emmanuel P.J., Director, College of Law on Day 1 and Rev. Dr. Augustine George, Vice Principal on Day 2.

The students of the department were fully involved with Synchronize 2K19 which provided a learning experience for the talents of young minds. It was a glorious event which promised high level of competitive events and implementation of technology and exciting achievements. Student’s undying efforts and skills will ensure that they will not only take present day technology to a new level but also extend the grasp of their contribution in the global arena.


XACTITUDE 2019

The Computer Academy, the auspicious club of Department of Computer Science [UG], organized “XACTITUDE” an inter-collegiate IT fest on 31st January 2019, for students in order to have a platform to showcase their potentials and cultivate leadership qualities and team work. 104 students from 10 different colleges participated in the 14 different events conducted in the fest and the Winner’s trophy was bagged by participants from "Christ -Deemed to be University".

Chief Guest of the day was Mr. Ezaz Momammed Hussain Sheikh , Vice President , Accenture , Bangalore. He spoke on the current trends in IT Industry and the need to have a positive attitude along with aptitude and academic strength. The Department magazine, "Interface '19" was released by chief guest during the inaugural ceremony.

It is named for 'Exactitude' - the quality of precision which is the driving force behind modern technology and continues to spur mankind towards greater heights. Xactitude has been instilling a passion for perfection among its participants ever since its inception in 2009.

SYNCHRONIZE 2018
SYNCHRONIZE 2K18 is an intra-collegiate IT fest organized by the Computer Academy- the auspicious club of the Department of Computer Science (UG), in order to provide a platform for students to showcase their potentials, develop leadership qualities and team work. The final year students organize the fest with an innovative spirit for the first and second years to provide them with an opportunity to organize, participate and showcase their intelligence and creativity in myriad facets of information technology.

To foster healthy competitions, the 760 students in the First and Second year of the department are grouped into Eight teams named after the AI assistants , Alexa, Cortana, Siri , Watson , Donna, Sophia , Bixby and Jarvis. They compete with each other in 13 different events,

Two new events, Coherence and Idea-thon were introduced this year. Moreover, for the first time, the students of first and second year BA-JPCS were invited to participate in 5 of the events.

The registration process was completely online and the department witnessed a remarkable number of registrations.

Computer science department: 550 students registered out of 760 students.
BA department: 20 students registered out of 90 students .

Through the events , the students were given a platform to sync (i.e.) develop their leadership qualities, team building, Time management, Flexibility, Versatility and Discipline.

The preliminary rounds of Synchronize started on July 31st 2018 and Friday,10th August, 2018, was the final day of Synchronize 2k18 . The Inaugural session was graced by Mr Satish Ramiah, Centre of Excellence lead and Technology Transformation Architect for large enterprises at DXC Technologies.

The Chief Guest, in his speech appreciated the college for its discipline and various programmes which equip the students with Industry-oriented skills, thus making them more competent and employable. He ended by inspiring everyone to work hard towards their goals and to never stop learning.

The group Cortana were the runners and the group Donna were the winners. The enthusiastic and energetic participation of the students contributed to the overall success of SYNCHRONIZE 2K 18.

SYNCHRONIZE 2017
Computer Academy, the auspicious club of computer science department, organized “SYNCHRONIZE 2K17” an intra-collegiate IT fest on 11th and 12th August 2017, in order to provide a platform for students to showcase their potentials, develop leadership qualities and team work. The Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony was Mr. Kumar Shanmugam, Vice President, Wells Fargo India Solutions, Bengaluru. He inspired the students to undertake the projects which serve the society.

The final year students organized the fest with an innovative spirit for the first and second years. It provide them with an opportunity to organize, participate and showcase their intelligence and creativity in myriad facets of information technology.

GALAXIA 2017
Computer Academy, the auspicious club of computer science department, organized two days science exhibition on 9th FEB 2017 and 10th Feb 2017 which included Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics, Mathematics and interactive Projects. A total of 126 projects were showcased in the exhibition.

Here, many interesting projects were displayed in which swing pump, CNC machine & kjc e-learning projects were the main focus of attention during the exhibition. ‘Straight curves’, ‘Matheca’, ‘analysis of gi’, ‘fair Groung game’, ‘The assignment problem’, ‘Propellor LED clock’, ‘android controlled spy’, ‘world of CS’, ‘Towers of Hanoi’, ‘Infinite cruiser’, ‘operation reforger’ were some of the other interesting projects.

The projects were categorized and judged in five different subjects. The winners of GALAXIA were awarded by cash prize at the valedictory function of Xactitude.

1278 people visited Galaxia- 2K17, which included students and teachers from other departments of our college and also school children of neighbourhood schools.

GALAXIA 2015
Computer Academy, the auspicious club of computer science department, organized two days (5th February and 6th February) science exhibition which included Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics, Mathematics and interactive Projects. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr.Sridhar nagbhushana, Senior IT manager, TE communications, Bangalore at 10.30 AM on 5th Feb 2015 in main Auditorium, KJC .

This exhibition created a platform for understanding latest technology and innovation in the respective fields. A total of 123 projects were showcased in the exhibition which includes 17 projects in Electronics, 12 in Statistics, 13 from Mathematics and 32 in Computer Science & 49 interactive projects.

SYNCHRONIZE 2016

Chief Guest of the day was Mr. Anil Kumar Muniswamy, Managing Director, SLN Technologies Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru. He spoke on the emerging technologies in IT Industry to inspire the students and also throw light on the current trends of the job market.

The final year students organized the fest with an innovative spirit for the first and second years. It provided them with an opportunity to organize, participate and showcase their intelligence and creativity in myriad facets of information technology.

GALAXIA 2016
Computer Academy, the auspicious club of computer science department, organized two days science exhibition which included Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics, Mathematics and interactive Projects.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Nagaraj N Murthy, Director & Head-software, Moog India Technology, Centre private Limite, Bangalore at 10.30 AM on 4th Feb 2016 in main Auditorium, KJC. A total of 125 projects were showcased which included 17 projects in Electronics, 22 in Statistics, 11 from Mathematics and 40 in Computer Science & 35 interactive projects. Many interesting projects were displayed in which Quad Copter & Holographic illusion project was the main focus of attention during the exhibition.

XACTITUDE 2016 – REPORT
The Computer Academy, the auspicious club of computer science department, organized “XACTITUDE” an inter-collegiate IT fest on 4th and 5th February, 2016, for students in order to have a platform to showcase their potentials and cultivate leadership qualities and team work.

The Chief Guest for the function was Shri. Nagaraj N Murthy, Director & Head – Software, Moog India Technology Centre Private Limited. He spoke about the emerging technologies in IT Industry and the need to do a quality job in the IT domain. He told that Determination, Hard work and Dedication are the three things essential to succeed. He advised the students to learn the basics to excel in their lives and career. The fest was organized for the students of BCA and BSc (CSMS/CSME) from all over the country to provide a platform to participate and showcase their intelligence and creativity in myriad facets of information technology.

A total of 330 students from 40 colleges participated in 15 events conducted.

Computer Academy, the auspicious club of computer science department, organized “SYNCHRONIZE 2K14” an intra collegiate IT fest on 28th August 2014, in order to provide a platform for students to showcase their potentials, develop leadership qualities and team work.

Chief Guest of the day was Mr. P.B.Kotur, General Manager, Talent Transformation, WIPRO. He spoke on the emerging technologies in IT Industry for aspiring young budding students and the current job market.

The fest was organized for the first and second year students of computer science by the third year students where they get an opportunity to organize, participate and showcase their intelligence and creativity in myriad facets of information technology.

XACTITUDE 2014
The Computer Academy, the auspicious club of computer science department, organized “XACTITUDE” an inter-collegiate IT fest on 25th February, 2014, for students in order to have a platform to showcase their potentials and cultivate leadership qualities and team work.

Dr.Sriram Kothappalli Vice President & Global Head, Quality , ITC InfoTech was the chief guest. He spoke about the emerging technologies in IT Industry and the need to do a quality job in IT domain.

The fest was organized for the students of BCA and BSc(CSMS/CSME) from all over the country to provide a platform to participate and showcase their intelligence and creativity in myriad facets of information technology.

The fest was well organized under the able guidance of Faculty Coordinators Mr.Rajesh H and Ms. Mary Jacob and the leadership of student coordinators Mr. Indresh G (VI BCA B) and Ms.Anusha K P(VI BSc-CSME).

A total of 377 students from 33 colleges participated in 37 teams in the 14 events conducted.

SYNCHRONIZE 2K13 – REPORT
Computer Academy, the auspicious club of computer science department, organized “SYNCHRONIZE 2K13” an intra collegiate IT fest on 30th August 2013, in order to provide a platform for students to showcase their potentials, develop leadership qualities and team work. He spoke on the emerging technologies in IT Industry for aspiring young budding students and the current job market.

The fest was organized for the first and second year students of computer science by the third year students where they get an opportunity to organize, participate and showcase their intelligence and creativity in myriad facets of information technology.
