Staff Outbound Programme: A Day of Art and Fellowship
The Department of English, under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Kristu Jayanti University, organized a Staff Outbound Programme on 2nd August 2025. The initiative aimed to foster camaraderie, creativity, and relaxation among faculty members through a thoughtfully curated cultural and social experience.
The day's highlight was a visit to the Van Gogh Immersive Experience, held at the Bharatiya Mall of Bengaluru. This unique exhibition transported participants into the world of Vincent van Gogh through breathtaking visual projections, soundscapes, and interactive installations. Faculty members were immersed in the artist’s masterpieces and life story in a way that brought fresh inspiration and appreciation for the arts.
Following the artistic experience, the staff gathered for a delightful lunch at Geist, known for its serene ambiance and exceptional cuisine. The setting provided an excellent opportunity for informal interactions, reflection, and team bonding outside the academic environment.
The event commenced at 1:00 PM and witnessed enthusiastic participation from the department. This outbound programme not only served as a well-deserved break but also reinforced the department's commitment to holistic well-being and collaborative spirit.
