Observance of Anti-Ragging Week
The Department of BBA organised Anti-Ragging Week from 13th to 18th August 2025 with a series of activities aimed at spreading awareness and promoting a safe, respectful campus culture. The programs ensured active participation from all three years of the BBA course across every section. For the first years, a Digital Poster Making Competition was conducted, where students expressed their views creatively through visuals and slogans against ragging. The second years presented classroom sessions, highlighting the consequences of ragging, the importance of empathy, and the need for a supportive peer environment. Meanwhile, the third years took part in an interactive quiz competition, testing their knowledge on anti-ragging laws, UGC guidelines, and student safety measures. These activities encouraged students to reflect on their role in building a safe campus and to be more responsible towards their peers. The week also served as a reminder of the institution’s strong stance against ragging and its continuous efforts to uphold student welfare. Overall, the initiative successfully combined creativity, awareness, and responsibility, reinforcing the message that ragging has no place in our institution. By the end of the week, students pledged to carry forward these values and contribute to a culture of harmony, dignity, and respect.

Observance of Anti Ragging Week
The Department of Management organized a week-long observance of Anti Ragging Week from August 13, 2024 to August 18, 2024 with the aim of creating awareness, educating students, and fostering a safe and inclusive campus environment. The week-long event featured a variety of activities designed to engage students, faculty, and staff in meaningful discussions about the consequences of ragging and the importance of preventing it.

The Anti Ragging Week commenced with a stimulating anti ragging awareness quiz that tested participant’s knowledge about ragging, its legal implications, and ways to prevent it. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, who engaged in friendly yet competitive quizzing. The second event of the Anti Ragging Week was poster-making. The posters aimed to convey powerful anti-ragging messages through art and visuals. The themes included promoting empathy, solidarity, and the importance of reporting ragging incidents. The third event featured student-led presentations that delved into the deeper aspects of ragging. Students discussed the root causes of ragging, its psychological and emotional consequences on victims, and shared insights into preventive measures.

The presentations encouraged open dialogue and thoughtful reflection among the participants. The events organized during the week prompted students to reflect on the impact of ragging and their responsibilities in preventing it. As we concluded the Anti Ragging Week, we reiterated our commitment to maintaining a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and any form of harassment. We encouraged students to report any incidents they witness or experience and to actively participate in creating a campus environment where everyone feels safe and respected.
