Prakriya - The Process

The students of the performing arts performed their very first performance together as a class. Starting with an attention grabbing and energetic flash mob, to follow, they scripted a street theatre play that encompassed the different sides and takes of 'azadi', especially in regards to poor migrant workers.
With devices such as comedy, satire, irony and sarcasm as well as an empowering song, the performance tactfully portrayed the message in realistic chaos, creating voices to be heard and messages to be delivered.
Furthermore, it allowed the students to explore a new side of themselves, paving the way for learning and so, new opportunities and greater performances that will shape a batch of well rounded, versatile, empowering and authentic artists to enter into the world outside.
Moreover, there is a significant appreciation towards the dance and theatre teachers who guided, equipped and helped make possible this unforgettable experience as well as the college for providing the opportunity to pave such a way.
