Circular for all undergraduate and postgraduate students (excluding MBA programme)
Kristu Jayanti College, Autonomous, is planning to commence the academic activities for the academic year 2020-21. Until the pandemic situation improves and the UGC / State Government permits conduct of offline classes with the physical presence of students, the college has planned for online delivery of course content. The below-mentioned tentative schedule will be followed:
Value Added Course (VAC) will be conducted through online mode (zoom platform) for all 2nd and 3rd year student batches of undergraduate programmes and the 2nd year batches (and 3rd year batch of MCA) of postgraduate programmes from 3rd to 14th August, 2020. The VAC is part of the regular curriculum and all students must attend.
‘Shubh Aarambh’ – the formal inauguration of the academic year and reorientation programme is as follows:
- 17th August, 2020 – III Semester PG (and III & V sem MCA) programmes.
- 18th August, 2020 – V Semester UG programmes
- 19th August, 2020 – III Semester UG programmes
Orientation and career guidance sessions will be scheduled after the inauguration. Commencement of regular online classes (Discipline specific core and elective courses, languages) will commence after the orientation sessions.
First year UG classes - The tentative date of formal inauguration of 1st year UG classes (2020 batch) is scheduled on 2nd September, 2020
