Forensic Science
Forensic Science deals with the application of science for the purposes of justice. Graduates of the forensic science programme can go on to become service providers in Government Forensic Science Laboratories, Police establishments, Intelligence Bureaus, Questioned Document Examination Units, Forensic Audit Units, etc. They can also be a part of private organizations that carry out work in Private Investigation, Questioned Document Examination, Forensic Auditing, Computer Forensics, Fingerprinting, etc.

Criminology
Criminology is the study of crime and criminal behavior, informed by principles of sociology and other non-legal fields, including Psychology, Economics, Statistics, and Anthropology. Criminologists study crime as an illegal action society punishes through the government’s legal system. Researchers focus on the causes, prevention, and correction of crime generally. By contrast, the legal industry’s perspective of crime emphasizes specific crimes and punishments governed by statutes and regulations, as well as established legal processes.
