MCA Master of Computer Applications

The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a two year (four semesters) programme designed to develop skilled professionals in the field of computer science and information technology. The programme provides a strong foundation in programming, software development, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. Emphasizing both theoretical understanding and practical application, it prepares students to design and implement innovative IT solutions for real-world challenges. Through a blend of classroom learning, hands-on projects, and industry interaction, the MCA programme nurtures problem-solving ability, creativity, and professional competence.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, Commerce and Engineering with not less than 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) as aggregate from a recognized University are eligible to apply.

Candidates should have studied Mathematics either at the Higher Secondary or Undergraduate level. Candidates who do not have a background in Mathematics will be required to undergo a mandatory Bridge Course in Mathematics conducted by the Department.
