M.Sc. Data Science

Programme Overview
The M.Sc. Data Science is a two year (four semesters) programme designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to extract insights and value from complex data. Combining advanced concepts from statistics, computer science, and machine learning, the programme provides a comprehensive understanding of data-driven decision-making. Students gain hands-on experience in data analytics, visualization, predictive modelling, and artificial intelligence using contemporary tools and technologies. The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical foundations and practical applications across diverse domains, preparing graduates for dynamic careers in data analytics, research, business intelligence, and emerging technology sectors.

Eligibility
Candidates with B.Sc. Data Science / Computer Science / BCA / BE / B.Tech. or B.Sc., Mathematics / Statistics / Physics / Electronics (should have studied Computer Science or Data Science as one of the Core / Elective course) with not less than 50% (45% for SC/ ST candidates) marks as aggregate are eligible to apply.
