The Department of Social Work is a recognized center for research leading to PhD Degree in Social Work. The objective of the Research Department of Social Work is to provide scholarly leadership for the profession of Social Work through high quality research and administration. Our PhD program is devoted to the Department's mission that highlights developing reflective Social Work practitioners' and Social Care Workforce. The Research Department of Social Work tries to prepare strong Social Work Researchers and Teachers who could make a remarkable enhancement not only in policy formulations but also improvising social work practices for individuals, families, and communities.

The candidates for PhD programme will be admitted through Bangalore University. The candidates desiring to do their PhD in social work through Kristu Jayanti College will be required to appear for the written test conducted periodically by the university.
