M.Sc Biotechnology
The M.Sc. Biotechnology programme offers advanced knowledge and training in the interdisciplinary field of biotechnology, integrating biology with technology to address challenges in healthcare, agriculture, and industry. Emphasis is on research, practical skills, and innovative applications. The programme nurtures scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and technical expertise through research empowerment seminars, skill enhancement programme, workshops and project work. The Programme prepares students to contribute to cutting-edge developments in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and sustainable technologies, while also providing a strong foundation for pursuing doctoral research or academic careers.
Eligibility
Candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Science with an aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) from a recognised University are eligible. The candidate should have studied any Life Science course as major or allied.
