Each one of the alumni has been a contributor to the success story of the department. To enrich this experience, the department has taken up new initiatives to interact and engage with the alumni and to know new ideas and innovations to be taken at the national and international levels.
Alumni can deliver lectures, mentoring sessions, coach fellow alumni, and conduct on-campus conferences to promote interaction between stalwarts of academia and industry. Alumni can support students and fellow alumni through mentoring, career guidance, and provide internships and/or recruitment opportunities. Alumni can help shape the future either by being a reviewer of various academic committees or as external experts.
NEW INITIATIVES
Jayantian Psychological Forum (JPF)
The Jayantian Psychological Forum is a platform created to interact, assist and collaborate with the Jayantian Psychology alumni community across the world.
JPF’s Mission
1. To nurture and strengthen a synergetic and long-lasting relationship between psychology learners of KJC and its alumni community.
2. To engage with KJC Psychology alumni continuously, to achieve excellence in the academic, and intellectual pursuits of the department.
3. To create a range of engaging and rewarding programs, meaningful dialogue, and exchange of ideas.
4. To set up a centralized alumni information and engagement platform to ensure efficient and effective alumni data management, relevant to the needs of the Psychology Department for its development.
Who can join the Forum?
Students who have completed Masters in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Counselling Psychology and are practicing and/or actively working in the field of Psychology are welcome to join the Forum.
Alumni Achievement Awards
The Kristu Jayanti Alumni Association of the college has introduced alumni achievement awards in the year 2022 during the Annual Alumni Meet Mitrotsava. The Psychology alumni who excelled in the field of arts, sports, culture, and academics received the awards on College Day, 30 April 2022.

Alumni Interaction Series The department seeks to continuously engage with its alumnus who is working in various capacities as Consultants, Industrial/Organizational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors, Special Educators, Freelancers, and much more.
To know more about the scope, and career opportunities, and to interact with and motivate the growing student community, the department will be organizing an Alumni Interaction every 3rd Saturday of the Month at both UG and PG levels. The alumni are encouraged to collaborate with the department activities.
