Applicable for UG (2023-26), (2024-27), (2025-28) batch & PG (2024-26), (2025-27) batch
According to the circumstances, different provisions are provided to the students who fail or who were absent during the SA Examinations. They are Immediate Makeover Examination, Special Supplementary Examination and Regular Supplementary Examination.
The Supplementary Examinations for the current batch students are held after the SA Examination of each semester. The eligible students who failed or were absent for the SA Examination of the current semester (for the current semester courses) can apply for the same.
Immediate Makeover Examination
Students who fail to appear for Summative Assessment Examination representing the University in various events such as (Inter University or national/international competitions, Participation in Republic Day parade camp, national / international camps, student fellowship/student exchange programmes) can get a special permission from ERC to appear for an Immediate Makeover Examination which shall be held immediately after the regular SA Examinations.
Students who appear for Immediate Makeover Examination shall pay regular examination fee as it is applicable for regular students.
Special Supplementary Examination
The eligible students who were absent or failed during the SA Examination of the current semester can apply for the Special Supplementary Examination immediately after the SA Examinations.
Students who appear for Special Supplementary Examination shall pay Special Supplementary Examination fee.
Regular Supplementary Examination
Students who are having backlogs in the previous semesters shall apply for the Regular Supplementary Examination during the subsequent odd or even semester as per the guidelines given below:
• Supplementary Examination of Odd Semester Courses can be appeared along with Odd Semesters
• Supplementary Examination of Even Semester Courses can be appeared along with Even Semesters
• For MBA Programmes: supplementary examination of first trimester courses can be done along with fourth trimester, that of second trimester courses can be done along with fifth trimester, and that of third trimester courses can be done along with sixth trimester courses.
NOTE:
• Students involved in repeated attempts of malpractice shall not be eligible to apply for the Immediate Makeover Examination or the Special Supplementary Examination.
• UG/PG students who have not passed all the courses within two years of extension after the Programme completion shall be allowed for a one-time sitting chance of supplementary examination after taking due approval from ERC.
