The Bangalore University with its notification number No.Aca-111/A1/R.C/K.J.C/2007-08 dated 5th November 2007 has approved the proposal of Kristu Jayanti College to start a research center for the purpose of PhD programme in Social Work of Bangalore University. Accordingly, the department of Social Work of Kristu Jayanti College has initiated activities on PhD programme.

- The candidates for PhD programme will be admitted through Bangalore University.
- The candidates desiring to do their PhD in social work through Kristu Jayanti College will be required to appear for the written test conducted periodically by the university.
