Department of History and Kristu Jayanti College of Law in Association with Science, Technology and International Relations Programme, NIAS (Bengaluru) organised NIAS-KJC European Lecture Series #29 titled "Contemporary Europe and the future of World Order". Her Excellency Ms Baiba Braze, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Latvia explained Latvia’s geopolitical positioning, defense strategies, and bilateral relations with India while promoting student engagement on international issues such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict, technological advancements, cyber security, and Latvia-India cooperation in trade and diplomacy.

Department of History and Electoral Literacy club in Association with Science, Technology and International Relations Programme, NIAS (Bengaluru) organised NIAS-KJC European Lecture Series #28 titled "Germany's Federal Election: Impact on Europe and the World". The resource person Dr Tim Stuchtey shared his knowledge on the German Elections and different perspectives we can view it from with all the ongoing wars. Also the parties involved and leaders. He also discussed the voting rates of Germany. The session provided great knowledge on the working of elections in Germany to the students.

Department of History in association with Science, Technology and International Relations Programme, NIAS (Bengaluru) organised NIAS-KJC European Lecture Series #27 as a panel discussion titled "Three Years of Ukraine War: Actors, Endgames, Strategies and Issues". Characterized as one of the most intense modern conflicts, the discussion traced the war's evolution from initial Western miscalculations about Russia's military capabilities in early 2022 to the current stalemate, analyzing six key geopolitical actors (US, China, North Korea, Russia, Europe, and India) through six critical lenses: major developments, shifting endgames, strategic adaptations, current battlefield dynamics, future projections, and Ukraine's sovereignty claims.

Department of History in association with NIAS organised the NIAS-KJC Neighborhood Lecture Series titled 'The Rise of China: Regional and Global Implications'. The students of I, II & III year HSPS and B.Com were addressed by Dr. Mumin Chen, Professor, National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. The lecture highlighted the significant historical milestones in China's transformation, including the communist campaigns, economic reforms, and leadership evolution from Mao Zedong to Xi Jinping.
NIAS- KJC Neighbourhood Lecture Series on the topic "Contemporary Middle East and Its Challenges"
The Department of History & Economics in Collaboration with The National Institute of Advanced Studies organised NIAS- KJC Neighbourhood Lecture Series on the topic "Contemporary Middle East and Its Challenges". This event featured Ambassador Prashant Pise, Deputy Director General of the Indian Council of World Affairs, New Delhi. Ambassador Pise addressed the ongoing issues in the Middle East, discussing their current state and underlying causes. His talk focused on India's position amidst these challenges, covering topics such as energy needs, human resources, economic intake, religious tourism, supply chain issues, connectivity issues, and potential alternative projects. Additionally, he provided insights into India's foreign policy and addressed various challenges threatening the stability of the Middle East. The lecture concluded with possible solutions to improve the situation.
