Kridotsava

Kridotsava is an Intra-Collegiate annual sports and games meet conducted to engage all student sports enthusiasts to participate in events of their choice. The entire student community is encouraged to participate and on an average 60% of the student community represents itself in this event. The Field events are conducted a week before the Kridotsava day and the track events are conducted on the annual sports meet day. This event is mainly conducted to spark a sense of participation amongst students and expose the students to healthier life styles which can be achieved by playing any sports and games regularly.

Kristu Jayanti College's Centre for Physical Education and Fitness organized "KRIDOTSAVA 2023," an Annual Sports Day for undergraduate students, in commemoration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahaotsav and Fit India initiatives. The event aimed to promote sports and holistic development among students. Participants were divided into eight groups for various knockout games, culminating in track and field events. Kridotsava took place on November 4th, 2023, commencing with a march past led by the college band and NCC cadets. Major General Ravi Murugan, accompanied by other dignitaries, inaugurated the event with an inspiring speech. The day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where Father Principal and Vice Principal awarded trophies to overall winners. Mr. Magnus Andrew and Sagar Gowda shared the men's individual championship, while Irene Rose Bijoy claimed the women's title for Jayantian Jaguars.

The impartial of the event was to foster the promotion of sports and facilitate holistic development among students. Participants were divided into eight groups for various knockout games, culminating in track and field events. Kridotsava took place on January 28th, 2023, commencing with a march past led by the college band and NCC cadets. Dr. B.R. Ravikanthegowda IPS, IGP, Central Range, Bangalore, accompanied by other dignitaries, inaugurated the event with an inspiring speech. The day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where Father Principal and Vice Principal awarded trophies to overall winners. The Individual championship for men is. The Individual championship for Women was shared by Yashasvinigam of Jayantian Giants and Megha M of Jayantian Spartans, while Mr.Arun Kumar of Jayantian Spartans claimed the men's title.

Kridotsava Inauguration
Date: 11 January, 2023
KRIDOTSAVA, the annual sports event for undergraduate students, was held on January 11th, 2023, with the inauguration led by our esteemed Principal Fr. Dr. Augustine George, accompanied by the revered fathers of the management. The promotion was hosted in college quadrangle in the presence of both teachers and the student community. The dance crew's impressive performance and the showcasing of various sports by the college team players enhanced the event's promotion beautifully. Students were divided in to eight teams, each team for seven distinct sporting events. These events took place from October 11th to January 28th. The inauguration of Kridotsava 2022-23 was effectively coordinated by Prof. Arockiaraj, the Physical Education Director, of the college, and members of the Centre for Physical Education and Fitness Committee.

Kridotsava is an Annual sports festival of the college, celebrated in the month of December. It is celebrated not only to promote sports and games, but to encourage the students in wholesome development. All the students were made into eight groups, and various games were conducted on knock out basis. On the final day with track and field events the festival concludes with the Prize distribution.

Kridotsava- Annual Athletic meet was celebrated on 15th of December 2018. The meet starts at 8.30 AM with the contingents March past with St Michael School Band team lead by the college NCC Cadets. The chief Guest for the day was Mr THANCKECHEN M C, Basketball Coach for the Indian army Team inaugurated the sports meet with the courageous speech.

Kridothsava- Annual Athletic meet was celebrated on 16th of December 2017. The meet starts at 8.30 AM with the contingents March past with St Michael School Band team lead by the college NCC Cadets. The chief Guest for the day was Mr. N.CHANDRASHEKAR RAI Chief Ticket Inspector South Western Railway Banglore inaugurated the sports meet with the courageous speech along with guest of honour Mr.Jose George. After the formal function we had all the track and field events.

The felicitation started at 4.00 PM, Father Principal and Vice Principal distributed the Trophies for the overall Winners for the Games and Athletics. The Individual championship for men is Mr.Ragesh .M.R, VI Sem BSc. The Individual championship for Women is Ms.ABIGAIL VENKAT IV Sem B.A.

Kridothsava is an Annual sports festival of the college, celebrated in the month of December. It is celebrated not only to promote sports and games, but to encourage the students in wholesome development. This year Kridotsava was organized on 17th December 2016, and was inaugurated by Mr. M V Ramakrishna Prasad, Superintendent of Police. His speech marked a wonderful start to the annual sports and games meet as it focused on sportsmanship and friendly competition.
