KJU Students Triumph at International Virtual Hackathon – Sudo//Build
The Department of Computer Science, School of Computational and Physical Sciences, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) proudly celebrates a landmark achievement as our students secured the First Prize at the prestigious International Virtual Hackathon – “Sudo//Build”, held on 19th September 2025. The event was hosted by the Department of Computer Science, Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru Central Campus.

This 24-hour global hackathon brought together 86 teams from 59 institutions across six countries – Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, and India. Competing in this dynamic and highly competitive environment, our students displayed exceptional innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork, clinching the championship title along with a cash award of ₹35,000.

The Department of Computer Science, School of Computational and Physical Sciences, Kristu Jayanti University, organized LOGIN2K25, an exclusive coding event for first-year students, from 24th to 26th August 2025.The event was designed to cultivate problem-solving skills, ignite interest in coding, and encourage students to embark on their academic journey in computer science. Conducted in an online mode, the competition offered a platform for students to showcase their programming skills in a supportive yet intellectually stimulating environment. Total number of registrations for the event is 345. From the 345 only qualified is 297(Round 1) happened in online. Second round out of 297, 182 participated and 60 selected for the third round.51 participated for the finals. Finally the three winners are ,Winner: Thomas M Thomas (25BCNB53), First Runner Up: Abiya Binu (25BCLB04), Second Runner Up: Joseph Prakash (25BCYC34)

LOGIN2K25 not only highlighted the promising talent among the freshers but also inspired them to continue exploring the world of programming. Guided by the motto “Learn, Code, Grow,” the event successfully laid the foundation for building a vibrant coding culture among first-year students at Kristu Jayanti University.


KJU Wins Overall Championship at Interface 2025 – Christ University IT Fest
The Department of Computer Science, KJU, proudly celebrates yet another milestone as our students secured the Overall Championship at Interface 2025 – National Level IT Fest, organized by Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru Central Campus on 23rd August 2025.

Our talented students showcased exceptional teamwork, creativity, and technical brilliance, winning in 4 out of 6 events, with 2 First Prizes and 2 Second Prizes. Their outstanding performances highlighted their innovation, knowledge, and competitive spirit, bringing laurels to the institution and reaffirming KJU’s reputation for excellence in academics and co-curricular engagements.

The Department of Computer Science, Kristu Jayanti University, proudly announces the remarkable achievements of its students at Connect 8.4 – National Level IT Fest, hosted by St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad on 21st and 22nd August. Showcasing their innovation, skill, and competitive spirit, our students secured an impressive 16 prizes across diverse events including Scanventure Hunt, Bug and Ladder, Code Crumble, Tech Pictionary, Tech Mafia, App Store from Hell, and many more. In total, they bagged 6 first prizes and 10 second prizes, reflecting their consistent excellence and determination.

This accomplishment stands as a true testament to the dedication and hard work of our students, coupled with the constant encouragement of the faculty. The Department extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the winners for bringing laurels to the institution. Special appreciation is accorded to the Computer Academy Faculty Coordinators for their guidance and support, under the leadership of Mr. Sevuga Pandian, Head of the Department, along with the Program Coordinators for their invaluable encouragement throughout this achievement.


Akshaya N Recognized as Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador
The Department of Computer Science (UG) is pleased to announce that Akshaya N (23BCNA06), a student of V Semester BCA Analytics A, has been selected as a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador.

This prestigious global program by Microsoft identifies and empowers student leaders who demonstrate a strong passion for technology and community engagement. As an ambassador, Akshaya will have the opportunity to lead technical initiatives, collaborate with a global network of peers, and bring innovative learning experiences to the student community.

Cyber Warriors Secure 5th Place at National Level Hackathon X | 24th July 2025
We are proud to announce that our students participated in the National Level Hackathon X – Qualifying Round, held on 24th July 2025 at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Karnataka. The event was organized by the Nation Cyber Security Research Council (NCSRC) in collaboration with the Royal Cyber Force, as part of a national-level initiative to promote innovation and excellence in the field of cybersecurity. The competition was supported by AMD.

Amidst strong participation from engineering institutions across the country, our team showcased outstanding technical expertise, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, securing an impressive Fifth Place in this high-stakes national event.
