Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) for MSc Biotechnology
After the successful completion of the programme students will be able to:
PSO1: Demonstrate knowledge of molecular biology, genetic engineering, immunology, bioprocess technology, environmental, industrial and medical biotechnology.
PSO2: Exhibit proficiency in conducting and interpreting experiments in recombinant DNA technology, bioinformatics, genetic engineering and tissue culture, adhering to safety standards.
PSO3: Apply tools and techniques using biotechnology in environmental, healthcare and agricultural settings.
PSO4: Design and conduct ethical and systematic research in biotechnology.

After the successful completion of the programme students will be able to:
PSO1: Demonstrate knowledge of microbial taxonomy, diversity, genetics and physiology, immunology, medical microbial interactions, geo and marine microbiology.
PSO2: Exhibit proficiency in conducting and interpreting experiments in food, agricultural, environmental and industrial microbiology and recombinant DNA technology, adhering to safety standards.
PSO3: Apply microbiological techniques in environmental, healthcare and agricultural settings.
PSO4: Design and conduct ethical and systematic research in microbiology.

After the successful completion of the programme students will be able to:
PSO1: Demonstrate knowledge of biomolecules, metabolism, physiology, enzymology, molecular biology, immunology, endocrinology, nutrition, clinical and analytical biochemistry.
PSO2: Apply biochemical and bioanalytical techniques in healthcare, pharmaceutical and agricultural settings.
PSO3: Evaluate biochemical basis of diseases and identify therapeutic interventions.
PSO4: Design and conduct ethical and systematic research in biochemistry.
