The Department of Management, School of Business and Management, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, in collaboration with the Faculty of Business and Law, University of Saint Joseph, Macau, organised a two-day International Conference on “Smart Technology and Digital Business Ecosystems for Sustainable and Resilient Intelligent Enterprises (ST-DBESRI 2026)” on 29th and 30th October 2026. The conference brought together academicians, industry experts, researchers and participants to deliberate on emerging technological advancements and their role in shaping sustainable and resilient enterprises.

The conference featured four insightful keynote sessions by eminent national and international resource persons, covering ESG practices and sustainable business models, upskilling and reskilling in the Industry 5.0 era, integration of people, technology and data for sustainable competitive advantage, and building secure, quantum-ready and resilient intelligent enterprises. The inaugural address highlighted sustainability practices for small F&B enterprises, while the presidential address emphasised the significance of innovation and organisational development. Research paper presentation sessions were conducted in both offline and online modes, providing opportunities for internal and external researchers to share their scholarly contributions and exchange ideas.

The conference concluded with a valedictory address by Ms. Neelima Vobugari, Chief AI Officer and CEO, Tarah AI, Bengaluru. The conference enhanced participants’ understanding of digital transformation, responsible business practices, cybersecurity, workforce readiness and technological innovation, fostering meaningful academic–industry collaboration and insights into the future of intelligent enterprises.
