The Student Research Symposium is a great opportunity for students to disseminate new knowledge acquired through their research experiences to a broad audience.
The symposium also promotes healthy interaction between the students and research scholars of various institutes.
The main objective of this symposium is to provide a forum which allows exchanging knowledge, experience, results and information related to various aspect of the emerging technologies.

Kristu Jayanti College
Kristu Jayanti College, founded in 1999, is managed by "BODHI NIKETAN TRUST", formed by the members of St. Joseph Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). The College is affiliated to Bengaluru North University and is reaccredited with grade 'A' in 2015 by NAAC in the Second Cycle of Accreditation. The College is recognized by UGC under the category 2(f) & 12(B). The College was accorded Autonomous Status from 2013 by the University Grants Commission, Government of Karnataka & the Bangalore University. For its contribution in the field of Education, Kristu Jayanti College was recently given the Heroes of Bengaluru award.
In the India Today- MDRA survey 2021, Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru is awarded as the Best Emerging College of the Century at National Level and the college is ranked 4th Best BCA, 12th Best MSW, 17th Best BBA, 19th Best Commerce, 21st Best Arts, 24th Best Science and 34th Best Mass Communication College in India. The College also ranked 2nd Best in BCA & MSW, 3rd best in Commerce, 4th Best in Science & Arts and 6th best in BBA and Mass Communication among the colleges in Bengaluru.

Department of Computer Science [PG]
The Department of Computer Science (PG) offers Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (MCA) which is a two year full time programme spanning four semesters and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Master of Science in Computer Science which is also a two year full time programme spanning four semesters and affiliated to Bangalore University. The Post Graduate Computer Science programmes of the college intend to produce aspirants who will be competitive computer professionals trained in advanced technical and logical concepts. The exclusive curriculum with updated industry oriented syllabus, skill development programmes in IT and soft skills transform the student into a competitive global professional.
The department has successfully organized three editions of National Conference(Current Trends in Advanced Computing) and eight editions of International Conference. The first two editions of the conference proceedings were published in International Journal of Computer Application (IJCA). For the years 2016 – 2018 , the department had conducted International Conference in association with IEEE Bangalore section and was technically co-sponsored by IEEE Bangalore chapter and proceedings have been included in IEEE Xplore. ICCTAC’19 papers were published in Journal of Advanced Research in Dynamical and Control Systems (JARDCS) ISSN: 1943-023X (Scopus Indexed) Journal and BJIT - International Journal of Information Technology ISSN: 2511-2112(UGC Indexed). ICCTAC’20 papers were published in Journal of Green Engineering (Scopus Indexed) Journal and BJIT - International Journal of Information Technology ISSN: 2511-2112(UGC Indexed).

The scope of the symposium covers paper presentations on scientific, technological and practical concepts and offers a distinctive opportunity for students to exchange ideas. Authors are solicited to contribute to the Research Symposium by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, survey works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the following areas, but are not limited.

Authors are requested to submit their papers on or before October 5, 2021. The submission link can be found below. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated in this symposium. The papers should be based on original work that should typically include a clear description of the problem being addressed, an overview of and comparison to related work, the theoretical framework/model proposed by the authors, experimental results, and conclusions. Papers will be reviewed by a review committee which will ensure that only quality papers with originalty and novelty are accepted for presentation in the symposium.
- Papers can have maximum 8 pages and must be prepared in IEEE double column format.
- Maximum 3 authors per paper are allowed.
