End Semester Theory Examinations will have two components
1. Component I: Online Open Book Examination (Answers to be submitted online through KJC LMS before 27th June 2020.)
2. Component II: Written End Semester Examination in the college (Commencing from 1st July 2020.)
The Total Marks secured in Component I and Component II will be considered as the Total End Semester marks for the course.
1. Component I: Online Open Book Examination
Answers are to be submitted online through KJC LMS on or before 27th June 2020
Questions shall be from the last Two Units of the Syllabus(Units IV and V)
Four Credit Courses which used to have End Semester Examination Question Papers out of 70 Marks
Maximum Marks: 20
Answer any 4 out of 5 questions provided. Each question carries 5 marks.
Three Credit Courses which used to have End Semester Examination Question Papers out of 50 Marks
Maximum Marks: 15
Answer any 3 out of 4 questions provided. Each question carries 5 marks.
Two Credit Courses which used to have End Semester Examination Question Papers out of 35 Marks
Maximum Marks: 10
Answer any 2 out of 3 questions provided. Each question carries 5 marks.
2. Component II: Written End Semester Examination in the college
Syllabus: First Three Units
Written End Semester Examinations will be held as per the following guidelines:
Four Credit Courses which used to have End Semester Examination Question Papers out of 70 Marks
Total Marks for End Semester Written Examination Question Paper: 50
Duration: 2 Hours
Three Credit Courses which used to have End Semester Examination Question Papers out of 50 Marks
Total Marks for End Semester Written Examination Question Paper: 35
Duration: 1½ Hours
Two Credit Courses which used to have End Semester Examination Question Papers out of 35 Marks
Total Marks for End Semester Written Examination Question Paper: 25
Duration: 1 Hour
Earlier Batch students (Passed out batches) who are appearing for supplementary examinations will have end semester written theory examinations as per the usual pattern and syllabus followed in the earlier End Semester Examinations.
