Student Research Symposium

The Student Research Symposium is a great opportunity for students to disseminate new knowledge acquired through their research experiences to a broad audience.

The symposium also promotes healthy interaction between the students and research scholars of various institutes.

The main objective of this symposium is to provide a forum which allows exchanging knowledge, experience, results and information related to various aspect of the emerging technologies.

Program Highlights

  • Keynotes and invited talks by eminent personalities.
  • Oral presentations.
  • Paper publications in proceedings with ISBN and selected papers will be published in Kristu Jayanti Journal of Computational Sciences (KJCS) ISSN: 2583-6072.
  • Certificate will be issued to the registered participants.

Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University)

Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) has been a beacon of learning and innovation since its inception in 1999 as an affiliated institution under Bangalore University. The Institution is managed by the Christian Missionaries belonging to the order of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), St. Joseph Province, Kottayam, Kerala. Marking a significant milestone in its journey, Kristu Jayanti attained the ‘autonomous’ status in the year 2013. As per the notification dated July 08, 2025, vide letter No. 9-13/2025 - U.3(A), Kristu Jayanti has been conferred the status of Deemed to be University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India under General Category.

Kristu Jayanti Deemed to be University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Arts, Science, Management and Commerce, and integrated Law programmes. The institution was reaccredited with the highest grade 'A++' by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the Third Cycle of Accreditation in 2021. In the National Institutions Ranking Framework 2024, the institution has been ranked 60th place and is one of the top 100 colleges in the country. Moreover, the programmes of the School of Management are internationally accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs [ACBSP], USA. The Institution was accorded 'DBT Star College' status under the strengthening component by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India during the year 2020. Kristu Jayanti has consistently featured as one of the top institutions in rankings and surveys conducted by various agencies

Department of Computer Science [PG]

The Department offers postgraduate programs in MCA, M.Sc. Computer Science, and M.Sc. Data Science, aiming to produce skilled computer professionals equipped with modern technological expertise. These are two-year full-time programs spanning four semesters. The curriculum provides in-depth knowledge in areas such as Advanced Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Software Testing, Web Technologies, Data Mining, and the use of open-source tools. Students are trained in an integrated academic and industry-oriented environment, enabling them to apply their knowledge effectively in real-world research and professional contexts.

Call for Papers

The scope of the symposium covers paper presentations on scientific, technological, and practical concepts and offers a distinctive opportunity for students to exchange ideas. Authors are solicited to contribute to the Research Symposium by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, survey works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the following areas but are not limited.

We invite Master’s and Engineering (MCA, M.Sc., M.E., M.Tech., M.Phil., B.E., B.Tech), PhD scholars and students to submit original, unpublished contributions for presentation.

Participants are requested to submit their papers on or before September 5, 2025, using the submission link. Submissions must not be previously published or under evaluation elsewhere. Papers should present original work with a clear problem description, an overview and comparison to related work, the theoretical framework or model proposed, experimental results, and conclusions. All submissions will be reviewed by a committee to ensure that only high-quality papers with originality and novelty are accepted for presentation. Plagiarism in any form will lead to outright rejection
