The knowledge exchange programme was conducted on the 30th of September till the 1st of October 2015, wherein the German students of HNU University, Germany underwent a series of lecture series and activities. The day started at 9:30am till 5 pm starting from the welcome and introduction of the participants and an overview of kristu Jayanti Management programme which was lead by Prof. Aloysious Edward. A glimpse about HNU university was given by Prof. klaus. The lecture series was continued by Prof. Aloysious on the title 'Indian economy during LPG era' which gave an insight about the Indian economy and the developments over the period of time; After which the session was lead by Dr. Arul SenthilKumar ,co-ordinator of the knowledge exchange programme, who organised a case study discussion ,a group activity done by both the HNU students as well as Kristu Jayanti students on the case of Revamping Maggi in India. The lecture series was then taken over by Dr.Justin Nelson Micheal who gave lessons about the Indian Corporate professionals and their role as future visionaries and transformational leaders. The following session was lead by Prof Ramya B who gave an overview about the origination of the Indian culture, Values festivals religion etc. The first day ended with a presentation by the students from the case study given of Maggi.
The second day commenced at 9:30am by Mr. Winsent De Rosario, head-People Culture, Grant Thornton who gave an insight about the Challenges faced in HR globally and also provided HR solutions for retention and lower attrition rates in a company. Next session was handled by Dr. Vijaya Bhaskaran gave the lecture about the importance of Indian Entrepreneurial system. After which a campus tour was given to the students followed by a photo session with the management team and student co-ordinators of the programme. A group activity was conducted by Dr. Arul Senthilkumar on making a print advertisement for Maggi followed by another team building activity. The day ended with the cultural show put forward by the college dance team wherein five dances of a few states were shown and a quiz competition by the HNU students were performed.
The programme was a grand success, taking back good memories as well as individual contribution from each student at HNU
