  • March 28th

      Notice Regarding UG Attendance Shortage Students
      II / IV Semester UG Classes
      Students who are having attendance percentage less than 75 % are not eligible to write End Semester Examinations.

      The list and guidelines for students who are having attendance percentage between 75 % and 85 % is displayed on the college notice board.

      VI Semester UG Classes
      The list and guidelines for students who are having attendance percentage between 60 % and 75 % is displayed on the college notice board.

      For all UG classes
      Jayantian Upliftment Scholarship (JUS) selection list is announced. 33 students who are selected for the scholarship will be intimated personally.


  • March 26th

      For II and IV semester UG classes
      End Semester theory examination time table is displayed in the College notice board and the same is available in the College website.

      Hall Tickets for eligible students will be distributed tomorrow (27th March 2015) by the class teacher.

      Students having attendance shortage will have to make up their attendance during the study holidays. Guidelines regarding the same will be announced tomorrow. Attendance shortage students list will be displayed in the college notice board tomorrow (27th March 2015).

      II / IV Semester UG Classes
      * Students who are having shortage of attendance will be displayed in the college notice board at 3:00 PM today (27-3-2015).
      * Students who are having attendance percentage less than 75 % are not eligible to write End Semester Examinations.
      * Students who are having attendance percentage between 75 % and 85 % should report to the college on the following seven days and be present in the allotted venues and study the different courses. Venue for these students will be announced tomorrow (28-3-2015). Absenteeism on the allotted days is not expected.       VI Semester UG Classes
      Students who are having shortage of attendance will be displayed in the college notice board at 3:00 PM today (27-3-2015).

      Students who are having attendance shortage (Less than 75 %) should report to the college on the following seven days and be present in the allotted venues and study the different courses. Venue for these students will be announced tomorrow (28-3-15). Absenteeism on the allotted days is not expected. On 13th April 2015 evening they may be considered for writing the University Theory Examinations.

      NSS unit of Kristu Jayanti College is organizing farewell (Dhanyosmi) for the outgoing NSS volunteers, today 20th March 2015. All the NSS volunteers are requested to attend.

      For IV semester M Sc / M Com / MSW
      Students have to pay Rs. 200/- for provisional degree certificate and Rs. 100/- as rental charges of the Graduation Gown at the UG office Counter No. 2 on or before 20th March 2015.

      * "Save Energy - Save Nation"- As responsible citizens and as a part of our civic sense, all Jayantians are requested to participate in the drive to "Save energy and save water". Please switch off the lights and fans in the class rooms when you leave the class rooms, and turn off water taps properly after use. CSA (centre for social activities) has formed a team called "Jayantian save energy team" for monitoring and motivating the activities. All are requested to kindly co-operate.

      For UG classes

      For II semester UG students
      For those students who missed their Life Skills Training in June 2014, a Crash Course on Life Skills is being organized from 22nd to 24th June 2015 in Mini Auditorium I from 09.00 AM to 04.30 PM. The students are expected to register themselves for this course in the Reception (Main block) on or before 25th March 2015.

      The students who joined the college after the Life Skills course is eligible to attend without registration fee.

      The other students who did not complete the Life Skills course have to pay the registration fee of Rs. 500 /- for attending the course.
      * The list of students who have to undergo this training is put on the college notice board.

  • March 17th

      Last regular working day for UG classes who do not have practical examination will be March 28, 2015.

      Students who are having attendance shortage should attend all the remaining classes without leave so that they can make up their attendance and be eligible to collect their hall tickets and appear for the University Examinations.

      For Guidance of students Dr. Alice Aloysius is available from 02.00 pm to 05.00 pm Monday to Friday.

      For II semester UG students

      For VI semester UG Classes only
      'Samavarthana 2015'
      'Samavarthana 2015' UG graduation day will be on 13th March 2015. Reporting time for graduating students on 13th March 2015 will be 8:45 AM. Late comers are not allowed to attend the Graduation Day ceremony.
      Dress code for the Graduation Day ceremony is strictly formals
      Boys: Formal Trouser, Shirt, Tie, Shoes, Blazer (Optional)
      Girls: Formal Trouser, Shirt, Tie, Shoes, Blazer (Optional) / Saree

      Students should come in proper grooming as per the college regulations on the Graduation Day. Students who report without proper grooming will not be permitted to attend the Graduation Day ceremony.

      Students are requested to be present in their respective class room at 1.45 pm today (12th March 2015) for the rehearsal. Students who are absent for the rehearsal shall not be permitted to attend the Graduation Day Ceremony on 13th March 2015.

      Students who are having attendance shortage with attendance percentage between 65% and 75% should submit the self declaration as per instructions given in the notice board and get approval for provisional permission to attend the graduation ceremony before 11:00 AM today (12th March 2015). Failing to do so these students will not be given permission to attend the Graduation Day ceremony.

      Students who have not paid Rs. 100/- the rental charges of the Graduation Gown should pay the amount to the respective class teacher today (12th March 2015) itself.

      100% Attendance Holders & Proficiency Prize winners to be awarded during the Graduation Day is put up in the college notice board. All the proficiency prize winners should report to the quadrangle at 2:15 PM today (12th March 2015) for the rehearsal of the prize distribution. The prize winners should report to the quadrangle before 9:00 AM in formal dress code with proper grooming on the Graduation Day.

      Students who are having attendance shortage should attend all the remaining classes without leave so that they can make up their attendance and be eligible to collect the hall ticket and appear for the End Semester Examinations.

      There will be no regular classes today (12th March 2015) afternoon session and tomorrow (13th March 2015). But students have to report for the college day on 14th March 2015.

      Saturday, 14th March 2015 being college annual day, the formal programme will commence at 9.30 a.m. Attendance will be taken in the respective class rooms at 9.00 a.m. Students have to maintain discipline and decorum during the programme. Only Parents are welcome to attend the college day programme. Friends from other colleges / neighborhood are not allowed. Possession of ID card is mandatory for entry in the campus.

      * The Kannada one act play performed by Jayantian team which won the first place at the National Theatre festival during February will perform at the SKE auditorium on 11th March 2015 at 3.45 p.m. All are invited. As seats are limited, kindly register your names at the reception before 2.00 p.m. tomorrow (10th March).

      All those who have registered for performances during College Day have to present themselves for an audition today, 9th March 2015 at 3.30 pm in the Main Auditorium. Please note the change in the venue. In case of group events, all members of the team have to be present. The preparation for all the performances should be complete at the time of auditions.

      Today being First Friday there will be Holy Mass at 12.00 noon in CMI Ashram. All the Catholic students are requested to attend the same.

      There will be a NSS meeting for all the NSS volunteers today (06/03/2015) at 3.30 pm in Room no. 301. All the volunteers are requested to attend the same.

      There will be Malayalam classes today, 6th March and tomorrow, 7th March 2015 for IV semester UG students.

      For VI semester classes
      Defaulters of examination fee can pay the same without fine today, 6th March and tomorrow, 7th March 2015 between 12.45 pm to 01.45 pm.

      All those who have registered for performances during College Day have to present themselves for an audition on Monday, 9th March 2015 at 3.30 pm in the Mini Auditorium II (3rd floor). In case of group events, all members of the team have to be present. The preparation for all the performances should be complete at the time of auditions.

      Students are requested not to play holi in the campus. Civic authorities are also requested to inform all the students not to play holi on the roads too.
