  • January 31st

      For UG & PG classes
      NRITYA Darpan - a dance concert by Jayantian dancers is scheduled today, 31st January 2015 at SKE Auditorium. All those who have registered for the dance concert have to be seated in the venue by 11.50 am.

      IV semester UG classes only
      There will be Malayalam classes today for IV semester UG students.

      For UG classes
      Defaulters of examination fees can pay with fine of Rs. 100/- on the below mentioned dates.
      a) II & IV sem BA / B Sc. 03/02/2015 at 12.45 pm to 01.45 pm
      b) II & IV sem BCA 04/02/2015 at 12.45 pm to 01.45 pm
      c) II & IV sem BBM 05/02/2015 at 12.45 pm to 01.45 pm
      d) II & IV sem B Com. 06/02/2015 at 12.45 pm to 01.45 pm

      (1) Students who do not apply for the end semester examination by paying the examination fee shall not be promoted to the next semester.
      (2) Payment of examination Fee is not a guarantee that student will be able to write the examination. A student will be allowed to write the examination only if:
      > He / she is having minimum 85% attendance for each course at the end of the semester.
      > Principal is satisfied with the general behavior of the student.

      Staging of Shakespearean Tragedy (for all UG classes)
      The audition for the staging of William Shakespeare’s play is postponed to 04th February 2015.


  • January 30th

      The Martyrs' Day is observed annually on January 30th, the day of Mahatma Gandhi's martyrdom. Silence is observed for one-minute as a mark of respect to freedom fighters, who had made supreme sacrifice in the cause of nation's freedom. We request Jayantians to observe one minute silence at 11.30 am.

      KRIDOTHSAVA 2015
      Please Note: Kridothsava - the annual sports day of the college is scheduled on 24th January 2015. All students should report to their respective class rooms by 07.50 am. Attendance will be taken in the class rooms, after which all students should be present in the college ground. Students should remain silent and disciplined during the inaugural programme. All are expected to be present for the whole day to encourage and cheer the participants. Students on official duty will have to take prior permission from the Principal.

      KRIDOTHSAVA 2015
      Students who are participating in the track and field events should register their names with the group captains today, 22nd January2015 before 05.00 pm.

      There will be a March Past rehearsal at 12.00 pm. All the students who are in March Past are requested to assemble in the ground with teacher’s incharge and group captains.

      Please Note: Kridothsava - the annual sports day of the college is scheduled on 24th January 2015. All students should report to their respective class rooms by 7.50 a.m. sharp. Attendance will be taken in the class rooms, after which all students should be present in the college ground and remain silent; disciplined during the programme.       Life Sciences Exhibition
      The Department of Life Sciences is hosting 'Creatix' - Life Sciences Exhibition today, 21st January 2015 in Mini Auditorium I. The exhibition aims in potraying concepts in Life Science through presentations and models. All students are invited to visit the exhibition between 10.00 am - 04.00 pm and benefit.

      There will be a badminton match for faculty members today at 04.15 pm. All are welcome.

      First Term UG Examination
      The UG first term examination will be held on 16th, 17th and 19th of January 2015.Students are reminded to prepare well for the examinations and score good marks.
      Students are expected to reach the campus by 09:00 am for the morning session examination. Late comers will be not allowed to write the first term examination.
      Seating arrangement of the same is displayed on the College Notice board as well as in the college website.

      For IV semester classes only
      There will be no Malayalam examination for students who have opted Malayalam as their second language during the first term examination. The subject teacher will announce date of examination for the same in the coming week.

      KRIDOTHSAVA 2015
      Schedule for the track & field events and instructions to the participants are displayed on the college notice board. Students are requested to go through and select their events accordingly.

      For all UG classes

      UG first term examination will be held on 16th, 17th & 19th of January 2015. Time-Table for the same is published in the college website and notice boards for your reference. Students are reminded to prepare well for the first term examination.

      It is observed that there are a few students, who didn't report on the re - opening day (After end semester examinations and Christmas vacations) and are yet to submit their leave letter with fine. They are reminded to submit the leave letter with fine before 04.00 pm today (12/01/2015).

      Our college has made arrangements with Avhieta Hospital, Byrathi cross and Cratis Hospital, Geddalahalli for emergency medical services. Students are requested to make use of the facility at concessional rates. Details are put up on the notice board.

      UG First term Examination is held on 16th, 17th & 19th of January 2015. Time table for the same is published in the college website and notice boards for your reference. Students are reminded to prepare well for the first term examination.

      There will be a Blood Donation Camp today 07/01/2015 organised by JES (Jayantian Extension Services). Students are requested to actively participate in the programme and serve the needy.

      The last date for the submission of Film/Documentary for "DARPAN" is extended up to January 09, 2015.

      Goldman Sachs visiting our campus on 08th January 2015 at 11.00 am for internship and final placements. Students with 85% Attendance in III Semester for UG Students and I Semester for PG Students and without any backlocks are eligible for the recruitment process. Registration forms will be circulated today. Only registered candidates will be allowed for the recruitment process.
