  • August 31st

      For all UG classes
      Luminary, the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of the college will provide opportunity for students to put up a stall, once a week in the college premises to showcase their talent and to do business. Interested students should register their names with Prof. Syed Kazim (Department of Management – Staff Room No. 5) or Prof. Lourdunathan (Department of Commerce –Staff Room No. 3), on or before 1st September 2015.

      For all UG & PG classes
      The last date to apply for Uttejana scholarship (only for minority students) and E pass scholarship (for CAT-I, IIA, IIIA and other categories except SC/ST & Minorities) for the academic year 2015-16 is 5th September 2015. For more details please check the college scholarship notice board or contact Counter No. 1 (UG office).

      For II & III year UG classes
      Bank Clerk/Bank Probationary Officer (PO)/SSC Examination coaching classes
      Students who are interested to join for Bank Clerk / Bank Probationary Officer (PO) / SSC coaching classes can register their names at the reception on or before September 02, 2015.
      > Coaching fee is Rs. 3900/-
      > Number of coaching hours – 80 hrs.
      > Study materials and handouts are provided.
      > Sessions are handled by external experts.
      > Regular online tests are conducted.

      For all UG & PG classes
      Ethnic Day will be celebrated tomorrow 28th August 2015. Students are encouraged to present themselves in their ethnic attire on that day. There will be a pageant portraying the diverse global culture on that day. Friends / Students from other colleges will not be allowed in the campus.


  • August 26th

      For all UG & PG classes
      There will be a prayer meeting in the CMI Ashram Chapel tomorrow (27/08/2015) at 3.30 pm. All catholic students are requested to attend. Others are welcome.

      Ethnic Day will be celebrated on Friday 28th August 2015. Students are encouraged to present themselves in their ethnic attire on that day. There will be a pageant portraying the diverse global culture on that day. Friends / Students from other colleges will not be allowed in the campus.


  • August 24th

      For all UG & PG classes
      Students who have registered their names for IATA - GDS International Certification programme should report to Mini Auditorium I for an orientation session by an industry expert at 3.30 pm tomorrow (25/08/2015). Students who need to know more about the programme are also welcome.

  • August 21st

      MBA/PGDM – I / IV Trimester classes (A&B sections)
      The seating arrangement for the Mid Term Exam starting on 24/08/2015 is available in the college website and the College app.

      Students are requested to check the college website or the college app for the same as the seating arrangement shall not be published on the notice boards.

      Students are requested to check the seating arrangement for all sessions as it may vary for each session.

      Students are also provided the option to take print out of the seating arrangement from the college website.


  • August 20th

      For final year M.Sc / B.Com / BBM / B.Sc / BCA / BA classes
      EY visiting our campus today for campus placements. All the students registered for the same should assemble at SKE Auditorium by 9.55 AM.

      Women Empowerment Cell of our college is organizing SRUJANA (An art exhibition) on September 03, 2015 exclusively for girls of our college. Interested students can register their names on or before August 28, 2015 with the following staff coordinators:

  • August 14th

      Independence Day Celebration
      For all UG & PG classes

      Flag hoisting on Independence Day will be at 8.00 am. All NSS, NCC & CSA volunteers have to be present in college ground at 7.45 am. All other students are also welcome for the flag hoisting.

      On the occasion of Independence Day, the Jayantian Extension Services (JES) comprising of NSS, NCC & CSA are visiting Infant Jesus Home – an orphanage which is located in Kothanur. Students interested in visiting Infant Jesus Home can join the JES volunteers on 15th August 2015 at 8.00 am in the college.


  • August 13th

      For all UG classes
      There will be a meeting for all the CSA volunteers today at 3.35pm in Room No. 201 regarding Independence Day celebration. All CSA volunteers are requested to attend the same.

      There will be an orientation program regarding the guidance classes for civil service examination conducted by the department of Humanities today at 3.30pm in Mini Auditorium I. Those students who have registered earlier and other interested students can attend the orientation session.

      For I & III year B.Com / BBA classes
      The inauguration function for CA and CS parallel program has been scheduled today 13th August, 2015. Students who have registered their names for this program are requested to be present in the MCA conference hall (PG block) at 2.35 pm.

      For final year UG & PG classes
      Mahindra & Mahindra Company is offering scholarships for meritorious students from financially weaker background. Students with academic percentage of 60% and above & family annual income of less that 2lakhs are eligible. Such students may contact Counter No. 1 (UG Office) on or before 14th August 2015.       For all UG & PG classes
      Students who are interested for an International Certification Course by IATA, (IATA – International Air Transport Association – Diploma in Global Distribution System Air Fairs and Ticketing) are requested to contact Prof. Retheesh P T and Ms. Emilda K J, Department of Tourism, Staff Room No. I, first floor for more details and registration. Seats are limited and the last date for the registration is tomorrow 13th August 2015. Students are requested to make use of this rare opportunity.

      On the occasion of Independence Day, the Jayantian Extension Services (JES) comprising of NSS, NCC & CSA are visiting Infant Jesus Home – an orphanage which is located in Kothanur. Basic materials like groceries, medicines etc., are to be provided for the orphans. We request you to contribute generously when volunteers come to collect on 13th & 14th August 2015. Contribution is voluntary and not compulsory. Students interested in visiting Infant Jesus Home can join the JES volunteers on 15th August at 8.00 am in the college.

      Doctor will be available today in the college between 11.00 am and 1.00 pm at the cabin in front of the Electronics Lab (first floor, UG block)

      Department of Humanities is starting guidance classes for civil service examination. This specialized guidance class will help students to prepare for civil services and other competitive examinations. In connection with this, there will be an orientation program on 13th August, 2015 at 3.30pm in Mini Auditorium I to share the mode of functioning with the students. Those students who have registered earlier and other interested students can attend the orientation session.

      For I Semester UG classes
      Students are requested to submit their original documents 10th, 11th, 12th marks card, transfer certificate and migration certificate from their respective colleges on or before 17th August 2015.

      For final year UG & PG classes

      For Final year B.Com & BBM classes
      All the students opting for final placements from V Semester B.Com and BBM should assemble in Main Auditorium at 3.30 pm. The placement team will brief regarding the placement season 2016 and registrations for final placements will be taken during the interaction. The placement season is starting from 17th August 2015.

      Epass scholarship site is open for the Karnataka students who belong to CAT-I, IIA, IIIA and other categories except SC/ST & Minorities.

  • August 06th

      All UG & PG classes
      It is observed that during free hours when students are not in the class rooms the lights and fans are kept on. Students are requested to switch of the fans /lights while you go out of the classes. Let us join together to save energy.
      Students are reminded to wear helmets while riding on two wheelers. Civic authorities have given the information to remind the students
      i. Not to park their two wheelers on the road side in front of the college and its vicinity.
      ii.Not to smoke in public places/near the shops by the side K. Narayanapura road leading to Ferns Residency. If any students are in the habit of smoking they are requested change the habit.

      All UG classes
      Students are reminded to prepare well for the UG First Term Examination that begins tomorrow (7/8/2015).

      Late comers are not allowed to write the Term Examinations. Students are reminded to reach the campus by 9.00 AM during the days of Term Examinations.

      Seating Arrangement for the First Term Examination is available in the college website.

      There will be no regular class today (6/8/2015) afternoon as the Term Examination begins tomorrow.


  • August 05th

      For all UG & PG classes
      Our college is starting a language course (basic level) in German and French. Interested students can register their names in the reception (Main Block) on or before 12th August 2015.

      Department of Library & Information centre has already launched a book bank project to help the financially backward students of our college. Now the Department expects whole hearted co-operation from all the students in this regard. The students can donate their used textbooks and other books to the library. A special counter is opened in both the libraries till 7/08/2015 for this purpose.

      All UG classes
      First Term Examination will commence on Friday August 07, 2015. Students are reminded to prepare well for the examinations and score good marks.

      For I Semester UG classes
      Students are requested to submit their original documents 10th, 11th, 12th marks card, transfer certificate and migration certificate from their respective colleges on or before 17th August 2015.

      For V Semester UG classes
      There will be a meeting of students who have applied for the position of “Jayantian Ambassador” at 3.30 pm in the Mini Auditorium I today, 5th August 2015.


  • August 04th

      All UG & PG classes
      Since First Term Exam commences on Friday, August 07, 2015 (First Friday) of this month, the Holy Mass for the month will be celebrated today, 4th August 2015 at 12.00 noon in the Main Auditorium. All Catholic students are requested to attend the same.

      For V Semester UG classes
      There will be a meeting of students who have applied for the position of “Jayantian Ambassador” at 3.30 pm in the Mini Auditorium I on Wednesday, 5th August 2015.

      All UG classes
      The results of KALAJYOTHI are published on the college notice board and in our college website. Students should check their names and report mistakes, if any. The names of all team members with class & section should be submitted in the case of group events. E-mail requesting corrections should be sent to the address mentioned at the bottom of the result sheet on or before Thursday, 6th August 2015. Certificates for the winners will be given at a later date.

      For II & III year students (UG & PG)
      Defaulters of tuition fee can pay the same with fine of Rs. 1000 /- on or before 10th August, 2015.

      For all UG and PG classes
      Students are welcome to avail the free medical checkup services of the medical doctor from Regal Hospital in our campus on every Tuesday between 11.00 am and 1.00 pm. Doctor will be present for the service today at the cabin in front of the Electronics Lab (first floor, UG block).

      All UG & PG classes
      Since First Term Exam commences on Friday, August 07, 2015 (First Friday) of this month, the Holy Mass for the month will be celebrated at 12.00 noon tomorrow (Tuesday) August 04, 2015. All Catholic students are requested to attend the same.

      CSA is organizing E-Waste awareness drive on 3rd, 4th & 5th August 2015. Students can make a right choice to dispose E-Waste. E-Bin will be placed near the college entrance.

      There will be a meeting for all international students today 3rd August 2015 at 3.30 pm in Mini Auditorium I, Second floor. All are requested to attend the same.

  • August 01st

      All UG & PG classes
      Attendance percentage will be calculated based on the actual classes attended and approved leave letter for official deputation of students for common programmes of the college.

      For medical leave, duly approved leave letter with documents is to be submitted within the prescribed time. Only the leave letters which are submitted within the prescribed time will be considered at the end of the semester.

      Department of Library & Information centre has already launched a book bank project to help the financially backward students of our college.
